But a whirlwind trip to the ER and an MRI reveals Ozzy has a brain tumor - and later, a pediatric cancer diagnosis - changes everything. During a year-long fight for a cure in the hospital, hope comes to Ozzy and their Mama through art, music and letters from friends, family and even strangers. There are so many that some remain unopened, collected in a box that goes home with Ozzy after they are discharged from the hospital a year later. The box sits in Mama's closet for over two years. A collection of romantic poems based on Poldark, a historical fiction series written by Winston Graham. It is set in 18th century Cornwall, England. It was originally adapted for television by BBC in the 1970s, and aired a new version on BBC & PBS in 2015-2019. I was swept away by Poldark's atmosphere, characters & romance - hence the inspiration for these poems. I do hope you enjoy them! Earth, 2070 AD. 18-year-old Kai and his twin sister Zel are survivors. Two years ago, they lost their parents in an apocalyptic environmental disaster that ravaged Earth, killing many.
