Of course Dan is not mute, nor suggestively, he just doesn't like talking to others, but he'll talk to his Grandmother, and his Mom. Dan paints the same thing in each of his paintings, a blue orb. Phillip Michael Lester is just an ordinary guy, or so many think. He is known as one of the more popular kids in his school, but he treats everyone fairly.
