These are the curious tales of Edenville. There is a hidden turning to Edenville, easily missed if you're concentrating on the road. But, if you're passing, it's well worth a visit and a poke around to discover what's there. On the surface it seems just a run of the mill village, like any other you might come across. But as you know, any community is the sum of the people who live there. Edmund Fudge runs the village shop and nothing surprises him very much, but that's as much as any one knows.... at the moment. Following on from the our recent collaboration Box. Joe, Naomi and I decided to have another crack at writing together. We had thought to do a catering course instead but we only had two eggs. So Edenville is the beginning of a new experience for us, and you might like to write a few lines for it too. Tally Ho!Thank you to Joe for the artwork for the book's cover. He gets lumbered every time we start a new project :)…
Cover by @naomimrshlFriends of mine have asked me to take stories from our collaboration called "Box" and place them in a separate book. So here it is, 'Snapshots'If you have a magnifying glass, focus it on a buttercup. Are there buttercups all over the world? Anyway. You can move the magnifying glass in and out to search deeper and deeper into the heart of the flower. I see time as a linear thing. We are all specs in time - linear lives of differing length; but only minuscule dots on the universal timeline. But we are all lodged there in time, somewhere amongst the myriad of multiple realities that exist side by side stringing out from and too infinity. We exist there and always will.I've written snap shots of characters lives. If you took your magnifying glass you would be able to focus on these brisk moments in time of people's lives. I believe you could actually focus in further to find out what someone felt in seconds of time..., if you wanted to, very much like scrolling through video pictures. Then, deciding on a frame, focusing on the many aspects within. Anyway, that's the methodology behind the book. I may tweak the stories. Thank you for reading.…
This is a selection of bits from my life - I used to play live music, professionally, often in pubs and clubs or US air bases and once in Buckingham Palace. Anyway I hope you enjoy my meanderings :)…
This is a collection of short stories written by different writers. Each time one story ends the author chooses three items to put in the box for the next author to use in their following story. If you would like to contribute to this volume then please message me by DM - stories are usually no more than 1000 words :)I would like to thank Naomi @naomimrshl for the cover artwork :)…
This is the second community Juke Box I've created on my profile. This one inspired by @lyttlejoe - who many of you will warmly know, who felt in these difficult times we could do with some cheer. Consequently this Juke box is inteneded to give the virus a virus of uplifting and happy songs for everyone to sing along with. PLEASE MESSAGE ME IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD A SONG AND I WILL POP A PENNY IN THE SLOT AND PUT IT ON :)…
Put a dime/ penny / euro or washer in the slot of the olde Juke Box and play a tune:) OrSend me a YouTube link by message and I'll put your song in the Juke Box for you - please give a few lines explaining why you like your choice :) It doesn't have to be a song .... it could be a link to a recited poem :)…
When Sam bumps into Eve on New Years Eve it sets in process a remakable chain of events that need the close scrutiny, dedication to detail and application of a scientific investigative mind. Reckless Sam Walton might have some of these qualities. Follow the twists and turns of their adventures as they tackle crime and solve mysteries in this odd little book.SignedRuthless RuthSam's mumMy thanks and gratitude for the cover design by @naomimrshl ... graphics are not my strong point :)…
