Imagine this. You've just been on a fifteen hour flight; you're exhausted, grumpy, pissed off with the world and certainly not in the mood to deal with anybody, even your best friend. You arrive at your new apartment that your friend's lent you and are ready to fall into a nice, comfortable bed... except there's a 6'2 ft giant laying across it and you've woken him, so he's now glaring at you with so much hatred it's insane! He may be devilish handsome but he's also a drunk and moody pain in the ass, whom I did not fly all the way across the world to be roommates with the fils de pute (son of a bitch). He thinks I'm a stuck up French girl with a stick up my ass, I think he's a cocky asshole who needs to learn a lesson or two. "You're my little queen," he told me, gently placing the crown on top of my head. I giggled as I gestured for him to kneel down before me. "And you're my king," I squealed, awkwardly placing a flower crown on top of his head. He chuckled, pulling me into a tight hug. ❦ Seventeen-year-old Seph Callas has no memory of her childhood nor of her parents but except for that and a stubborn repeated dream that won't go away, everything is normal. But along the way, she finds herself being chased by things that shouldn't exist; demons, gorgons, minotaurs, gods, goddesses and even a three headed dog which makes her question everything that she once thought she knew especially because they're all after one thing, her. Has Seph made the right choice to trust him? Or is he the one that wants her dead?
