The Light's Calling
We all have dreams, but sometimes, life gets in the way. Before we know it, we feel like it's too late to make our dreams come true. This story follows 2 young girls, Autumn and Destiny, as they set out on a journey to remind everyone that dreams do come true if you believe. It is never too late because as long as you're here, the light inside you is burning and waiting to shine once again. Autumn and Destiny rediscover the lights that were once just believed to be made-up stories from their childhood, but they find out that they aren't; the lights are real. These two best friends, along with dealing with boys, being black in the United States, high school, and discovering their own lights, must find a way to defeat the Minos, the shadows that seek to rob us of our lights at any cost.
