The Underground Circus
"As we all carried on, there was the sound of footsteps entering the restaurant. Finally, a customer I thought to myself. It had already been an hour of the day and no one new had come in, and as much as I love the company I had, it was a bit boring. As we all looked up to greet the customer, we realised this person really was new. I had never seen him before, and I knew practically everyone around here, even if I just knew the face.This face though... So when everything comes tumbling down onto you, you have to have a positive outlook - and of course - keeping your humour and curiosity is the key. He Strikes at the Hotel
Royally disastrous...Audrey-Rose is strong headed, confident and adventurous. Everything a Duke could ever need in a woman. Especially when he needs a partner in crime. Whilst being a chambermaid in an Edwardian hotel, Audrey Rose encounters a lot of this mysterious ladies man when he comes to stay. However, she encounters a strange presence in the hotel upon his arrival that can't be seen. She believes she is going mad, until the Duke reveals some truths which make the whole situation clearer, but a whole lot more complicated. The unlikely duo have to team up to discover the truth behind the mystery, by playing the culprit's own game, and putting Audrey Rose in the firing line of it all. Little Miss Rochester
I watched the rose bush outside of my window; being thrown side to side sporadically as the gusts of the not-so-summer breeze took hold. My eyes fixated on the purest rose petals, clinging on to dear life to avoid being carried away half way across the country. Ruby-red, delicate, strong. What were they holding on for? To prove the season's impulsive burst of turbulence wrong. To prove the wind wrong all together. Determined to prove everyone wrong.I am no bird.I am a rose.
