Young at Heart
I've always wondered what went on in that strange building down the street. Normally, I'd disregard it, leaving my curiosity in the back of my mind; after all, I have much more serious things to tend to: specifically, The Hunt. With school finally out and my parents about to send me to that disgusting summer camp, now is the only time I have to even get close to winning. Every summer The Hunt takes place and I always lose, leaving the glory for some washed up sap with no life. Well, it's my turn to be the washed-up sap with no life! Every day is something else: chores to do, strange people to entertain, complete with demanding Lead "Volunteers" breathing down my neck, just waiting for me to screw up. I need to get out of here. We need to get out of here. I can't leave Harold and all these other "volunteers" here.We all have different stories: lost during a game of hide and seek, tricked into summer internships, the list never ends. The one thing we have in common: we are trapped below the building with the vacant lot and the small sign that reads Young at Heart.Cowritten by @my_names_kat_ !!! Check her out!!…
