Enzo doesn't expect much of a life for himself, really. Nobody else does. He expects to carry on the family tradition, naturally. His grandfather, cousins, uncles, and even cousins twice removed had all fallen into the same sorry pattern. They married young out of necessity after impregnating even younger women, got a job at a construction site or a gas station, then drank through their liver like there was no tomorrow until there was, in fact, no tomorrow for them after all. It was a sorry existence to look forward to, but it was all he thought he had a chance for. Then he met Aud, and his view on everything changed. She was a light skinned, blonde haired, bright eyed bombshell, and she broke down Enzo's protective walls like a living hurricane. She didn't know his story, and he didn't know hers, and despite all this they were thrown into a split second situation that would soon change Enzo's view on life forever. There's a funny thing about hurricanes, though. The second you get used to them, they've already vanished.~~~Mentions drugs, drinking, and other mature themes. Strong language.
