On October 3rd, 2017, my step mom was driving my siblings and I to school. The landscape was coated with fog. As we were driving, my step mom saw a pelican at the edge of the lake, "a spot of white shining through the fog". That sparked the idea for a story. Here's what came of it.The Legend of the Silver Heron has been passed down for generations, spread through the students who come to the Silver Heron Camp in Mist Valley. As the story goes, there is a bird called the Silver Heron who lives in Mist Valley, its soul completely pure and incapable of hatred or bad intentions. It is the embodiment of pure innocence.
