During the near end of leaf-fall, young warrior Nightburr and his clan, BarkClan, are struggling to accumulate enough food for leaf-bare. On top of that, the opposing clan, NeedleClan, possesses more territory than BarkClan, by rule of the forest. One day, while desperately searching for food, Nightburr accidentally collects greencough, in which he unknowingly carries it over to the other cats of the forest. With this greencough outbreak spiraling out of control, it seems like hope for Nightburr and his Clan are several fox-lengths away.…
