Of course, when Drew goes missing in the natural disaster no one thought would ever actually happen, Tyler's only family left is his best friend's twin sister Erin, whom he has secretly pined for for years. Perhaps if he helps her adjust to her new role in the community, she will begin to look at him as more than a roommate. Through wild animal attacks, community bonfires, experimental surgeries, and construction projects galore, Erin and Tyler must find a way to move beyond survival and into living.In the rural town of Elkton Oregon everyone has a plan for what they'll do when the Big Quake hits. In the second of three rom-coms set among a disaster, learn what happened to Sarah and Joey. Small town veterinarian Joey plans on letting his assistant in on the secret of his successful practice soon, which will finally allow him to take a much needed vacation. When the Big One hits, he finds himself forced to take a break from his practice, but this break is anything but relaxing. He's instead trapped inside of a school with a hoard of sticky obnoxious children who aren't even his most uncomfortable companions. That illustrious designation goes to Sarah Dinsdale, a fancy LA socialite who doesn't even like animals, and who keeps butting heads with him over every decision he makes. Sarah can't help it if she prefers the comforts of fine foods and city living to the wilds of rural Oregon. She was only in this godforsaken town in the first place to meet her last PR client before gaining that big promotion. Getting trapped inside of a school in a disastrous earthquake with a know-it-all doctor is not her idea of comfortable accommodations. Luckily, Sarah is more capable than that annoying doctor gives her credit for. If they can learn to trust each other and work together, they may just be able to dig themselves out of this school and get back to civilization. But to do that, Joey will have to share information about himself, and Sarah will have to lean on another individual for help. And they both might get caught up in true intimacy.Nevermind.
