How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!How great is the sum of them!If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.~Psalm 139:17-18Reflected today on just how precious it is every uncountable time God thinks of us and blesses us. This Good Friday, may we devote all our praise and affection and gratitude to the Savior who in His Love for us bore our sins and our pain. Jesus is Worthy of all Praise. ✝️Please reflect on the depth and love of His Sacrifice as you read these words. I'm so so grateful for the Holy Spirit giving the words for this poem to me and writing this through me, the Truth and depth of Jesus' Sacrificial Love for us all is truly incredible, beyond understanding, and I'm honored to express it. The Lord is so gracious- He alone Saved me and now He's the One enabling me to praise Him through His Spirit. His Love is incredible.Jesus loves you, so so much, He loves us all. To be willing to bear all our pain for us. How Good and Merciful is He!"..Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness-by whose stripes you were healed." ~ 1 Peter 2:24"Surely He has borne our griefsAnd carried our sorrows;Yet we esteemed Him stricken,Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions,He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,And by His stripes we are healed." ~ Isaiah 53:4-5(Upon praying and reflecting, I have a feeling I'm called to write something more here. Perhaps a final line and maybe some others too.So tomorrow I will definitely pray more about this and spend time in God's Word and hopefully more words will be added soon! 😊)I hope you've had a blessed Good Friday full of worshipful praise.Praise and thank our Wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus! 💙✝️…

Blotted by the Blood

Blotted by the Blood

When we begged the Lord to blot out our transgressions,He covered them completely with the Blood of His One Son.I remember praying desperately, late at night while in the car, through the regret and shame weighing down on me begging for God's forgiveness. Silently murmuring the Words of Psalm 51.. "According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions." And according to God's amazing Mercy, I closed my eyes and saw the drops of the Blood of Jesus, falling on my past and covering the sin I regret in His Grace. The realization is incredible.. may we remember God truly does blot out all our transgressions, with the Blood of our Savior Himself. How amazing is the Redemption through Jesus Christ!"...how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" ~ Hebrews 9:14"...To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen." ~ Revelation 1:5-6…

Security

Security

During a night that was filled with shortcomings and tears -in the wonderful, marvelous way that He always turns rough times around for His Good Purpose- God gave me this incredible and profound revelation of peace. It started with the painful realization of my iniquity and how unworthy I am on my own.. the feeling felt like the dark void described in the poem.. and by His Grace God brought forth the sudden and powerful realization of the Peace, the Security that relies on Christ Alone and not on ourselves- the Holy Spirit blessed me with being able to feel how comforting this truly is, having all reliance on ourselves broken to make way for full trust in Jesus. We don't rely on being worthy, our safety depends on being cherished, loved, forgiven, and held- and by Jesus we always are. This poem is based on this incredible spiritual experience God graciously blessed me with through His Holy Spirit.I hope I've managed to relay the beautiful message the Holy Spirit has given me that day, that wonderful peace of finding comfort in realizing we cannot and don't depend on anything of ourselves but rather our Security is entirely in Lord Jesus who will never let us go! It's a Peace that transcends understanding, and I just pray I've shared a glimpse of it and that this may bring glory to our Savior and Protector, the Wonderful God Almighty.(I'm finishing writing this very late at night, and if tomorrow God calls me to add or improve upon anything, I will. I'm just so grateful He's led me and let me to finish this! God's Plans truly always prevail! (And our Security is truly always in Him.)Praise God!…

When I was very suddenly faced with the question of what I will do to honor the Lord for Lent this year, I prayed on it and God called me to work on some poems of reflection and praise, which I will now be posting throughout Holy Week.Starting with this one that came to me very suddenly, and blessed with inspiration I just kept writing it.. How good it is to praise the Lord! This was a joyful poem to write, one purely of praise and gratitude to Jesus who liberated me and frees us all. <3I pray you are blessed through this, and through all that I will be posting.May God's Will be done through this poem series this Holy Week- His Plans are so exciting! And it really is a blessing to be called to do this.Happy Palm Sunday! 🌿💚🙏…

afraid of the dark

When we find ourselves afraid of the dark,we only need to run to the One who promises:Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." ~ John 8:12"Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path." ~ Psalm 119:105"For You will light my lamp; The LORD my God will enlighten my darkness." ~ Psalm 18:28"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I will fear no evil; For You are with me;Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." ~Psalm 23:4"The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?" ~ Psalm 27:1"Through the tender mercy of our God,With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us;To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death,To guide our feet into the way of peace." ~ Luke 1:78-79With the Lord we never have to fear the dark! Poem I wrote, inspired by the miraculous ways God works against all impossibilities. As Jesus said in Matthew 19:26 "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."It was going to be quite a simple poem but after God inspired me to write about the Crucifixion and Resurrection -the Greatest Miracle- I'm realizing that, far more so than I planned, it became so powerful!God's Power, and all He does, truly is amazing!I hope this blesses you, and inspires you to stand strong in faith with the knowledge that our Lord is the Conqueror of all impossibilities, and He already won. :) <3…

~His Peace I wake To~

~His Peace I wake To~

66 18 1

About a month ago, I had this dream.. which started out as a nightmare but then turned -by God's Grace- into a dream of Jesus comforting me with a kind of Peace that only He can give. It was one of the most meaningful dreams I've ever had- I remember the feeling of safety that I experienced in that moment as He woke and soothed me. :')It was during that dream that I felt called to write this poem in gratitude. There's also been many times that I've prayed during a nightmare -sometimes while not even knowing it's just a dream- and every single time, right when I pray is when I wake up. God wakes me up, making everything okay, and this pattern has definitely taught me to cry out to Him.That's the meaning behind the second paragraph in this poem.I've never really thought of myself as much of a poet. I barely have any experience around this type of writing. The fact that this came to me so easily and the way I could express so much emotion through it really shows that it was the Holy Spirit's work through me- it was a sudden gift and I'm grateful to have been chosen to write this. :) May all Glory be to Him! <3…

Kindness Behind Bars

Kindness Behind Bars

724 134 10

Abused, exploited, imprisoned, tortured... All their lives these two sisters have never been cared for by anyone except each other. Their strong bond gets them through each painful day, and in each other they find the love their hearts so long for. Leaning on each other as they endure the horrors of the modern farming system the sweet hens wish desperately for mercy and soon dream of a better world. But how can such a small hen make such a huge change, or even just survive the deadly conditions? Among the cruelty they face, can kindness rise after all? *AUTHOR'S NOTE: This novel is a work in progress, thus the chapters aren't yet in their proper order and there are gaps to be filled. I am working on the book spontaneously, depending on which piece I'm inspired to write, so expect pretty random, unorganized updates with new parts placed between already complete ones, changes being made to previous chapters, etc. I hope that's okay and that my messy update process doesn't interfere with your reading. :) Thank you for understanding! I'm hoping I can get this finished one day, but for now here are the bits and pieces I have so far.*…

Flock Life Collection ~ Stories of Friendship, Faith, and Fun

What would it be like to be a member of the Flock; to interact with the many different chickens who have appeared in my stories? This book gives that perspective, as well as portraying each character's personality on a closer level. My OCs are like friends to me, and I've made up countless of scenarios while I was writing, so I decided to put all these stories into a book.So here's this collection of small scenes- some random, some funny, some emotional. I focused on accurately portraying each of my characters and the experience of what knowing them would be like, so this is definitely where you'll see most of their personalities.Honestly this is probably my favorite book to write- I just always have so much fun with these stories. :D I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I've enjoyed working on this book. :)…
