Everything was normal in Japan until one day it all went to hell. Some people started to act differently and began attacking people with quirks, especially anyone who had a very powerful quirk.While this was happening, Izuku was in the park training to get OFA when everything went down. He heard all the screaming, and he then ran towards the noise where he came upon the horrifying sight.He tried to help some people, but he was quickly shoved to the side so they could save themselves. As this continued, he then thought back to his mom and raced home, ignoring everything else.Arriving at his apartment he saw lots of blood and gore, it took all his will power to not throw up before he ran up the steps to his home and his eyes widened in horror at the sight before him. His mom was already dead.After that day, he found refuge in UA, which became a safe zone, one of the few that could sustain itself for a long time. Him and a couple thousand people managed to get into the school, where they quickly beefed up the defenses of the school.Hero's, police and the military tried their best to hold back the massive zombie hordes, but they could only do so much against a literal sea of bodies running at them.For Izuku afterwards, he was assigned as a scavenger/runner who'd look for resources, food, survivors, and possible safe points in the city.While he stayed in UA, he met Katsuki and lots of other teens who were planning to he heroes but now they all live in UA. Izuku lived a normal happy life and had lots of friends until he turned 4 years old when his quirk activated.It was a very powerful fire quirk, but giving its darker qualities and how dangerous it is, people stayed away from him and labeled him a villain, while treating him as a outcast.His friendship with Katsuki completely fell apart afterwards as well, with him bullying him for his quirk and wanting to be a hero.But then one day everything changed for him, when Katsuki came to his house since he was forced to bring Izuku's homework and when he showed up, they got into a argument. As they argued, Kastukis anger and inferiority along with superiority complex got the better of him and he ended up releasing a massive explosion inside Izuku's apartment.Seeing his mom get hit by it, he ran to her screaming for her but didn't get a response.Katsuki stood frozen from seeing this but after a few seconds he turned and ran away from the scene, leaving Izuku screaming for his mother.After that, Inko was rushed to the hospital and was in a coma and the doctors told Izuku they weren't sure when she'd wake up or if she ever will. As he sat in the room with his mom, the door opened and the family friend Nemuri Kayama ran into the room and pulled Izuku into a tight hug while apologizing to him and telling him everything will be ok.But for Izuku, a part of him broke and he realized that if he didn't have this quirk... his mom wouldn't be here and she'd still be awake.Nemuri took Izuku in giving Inko wrote that either her or Mitsuki would take care of Izuku if anything ever happened to her.She helped raise Izuku and tried her best to be a mother figure for him, but he was simply broken, he didn't smile anymore and kept to himself.
