In a world mankind has been faced with a devastating virus, in which mankind sacrificed freedom for security. Being the only living entities not affected by the disease the term of "animal labor" had a whole new meaning now. Strands of animal DNA has bonded with much of the civilian public. Military having access to all of the animal kingdom bred no longer soldiers, but killers. However from the time boots, and claws hit the ground. Humans' destructive nature and animals' survival instincts took over. Men and women turned to full fledged animals. Some stayed that way. 4 years have passed. Shadow, a former elite soldier who survived the carnage. Being part Wolf, Jaguar, and Honey Badger spends his days hunting, foraging, surviving. That changes when he meets Scarlet. A young 'tough as nails' redhead comes around searching for a rumored Utopia, HAVEN. Being pursued by unknown human troops, braving hostile hybrids, and trekking through infected flesh eating zombie-like people. Shadow and Scarlet have no choice, but to work together. Will they make it to this Haven? Will they make it through the perilous obstacles in their way? What enemies or friends will they meet?
