Now, it seems as if their patience and resilience is beginning to pay off as the two grow closer and closer to learning the identity of the criminal whom they have been pursuing. The journey to discovering Hawk Moth's identity is rewarding, but there is a price to pay. The closer Ladybug and Chat Noir get to revealing his identity, the more they lose their own identity as Ladybug and Chat Noir, and as Marinette and Adrien.
