The Creature of Falynn Creek
Joseph Whitman is a newly graduated science major, very enthusiastic about his future in scientific discovery. He is also very enthusiastic about the man he's been seeing, Stephen Anderson. So when Stephen asked Joseph to come stay with him in the small forestry town he lives in for the summer to help with his research, Joseph was overjoyed. He happily makes the trip and settles into the home, but it soon becomes apparent that something is wrong as Stephen never makes it back home. Joseph is left alone in the house of his lover with many questions and a determination to find out what happened to Stephen. Joseph takes it upon himself to try and finish Stephen's research, only to discover that his research seems to be about a mysterious creature lurking in the forest surrounding the town. Joseph has never been a superstitious kind of person, but the more he learns about this creature the harder it becomes for him to deny it's existence or abilities. As Joseph learns all about the work his companion has done in the past six months, the further he falls down a rabbit hole of an impossible being that seems to be reaching out to him. The nights become longer and darker and the locals all insist that Joseph stop investigating things he doesn't understand. Joseph's perseverance is put to the test and his objective is clear, but the question remains; What exactly is this creature in the forest and what will it do to Joseph if he gets too close to it? ////This story is written as a script. It's focused on the dialogue of the characters, and the actions aren't as important. Just keep that in mind as you read.…
