Unexpectedly while exploring MossClan territory with her mentor, she realizes strange things about the forest. She realizes there might be another Clan that has been missing for seasons. Cats from the Clan potentially still roamed the forest. Honeypaw tries convincing her sister that what she said is not true, but she insists that she must help Honeypaw in her mission. Though, on the night of the gathering she learns a lot more about the mysterious Clan... Honeypaw tells her sister it's a terrible idea to talk to these cats, but she doesn't listen. Now Honeypaw is confused with the prophecy and the Clan. They were left with no food, water, and shelter. StarClan hadn't even said a word. The whole Clan started to fall apart, cats were becoming rouges and some were even dying from starvation as the whole forest was crumbled to ash and dust. Petalstar is determined to keep her Clan together, though, she's on her last life with no deputy, no medicine cat, no queens, and no elders. She was only left with a couple of warriors, an apprentice, and herself. Petalstar decides that the best choice is for her last standing cats to go on an journey and find a new place to stay. Although it's risky, the leader stayed behind and told them one day, she'll see them again.
