Trying to make a proper Dustberry/Murderswap/Dustswap story now.Everyone deals with the madness of the multiverse in different ways. Some just avoid it or watch from a distance, like Outer or any bystanders of AUs that the trouble intrudes. Some cause trouble like Nightmare's gang and then there's those that try to prevent it like the Star Sanses...Well, that's how it SHOULD be. Many consider it simple like that where none of these three groups overlap. The two sides fight and the bystanders stay away. But...Swap consistently contradicts this system. He hangs out with "bystanders" in other AUs when outside of battle and if not for being part of the Star Sanses, would be a bystander. He befriends Error and Horror or the "enemies" and tries to keep Dream or Ink out of trouble. So when Swap goes missing, Error quickly jumps into action and gets the gang to help him. Since this is the third time I've made a story for this ship, I don't really know how to title it or give it a cover. That will be updated once I see where it goes. Ah yes, the multiverse. The wild, unpredictable multiverse of AUs. There are many guardians or gods to hold the balance. Like we can find Nightmare,the guardian of negativity, juggling tasks with his gang while reading a book-literally. He juggles each of them with his tentacles, handling them with care as he goes along, reading. His opposite, Dream, is practicing archery with Blue. Now Ink sits in his doodlesphere, admiring the AUs and even doodling a bit as always. Now if we look into a particular anti-void, we will find HIS counterpart, the god of destruction Error. He'll probably be watching UnderNovela or in a hammock of his strings.....Wait, where is he?This was the question that Ink faced as he realized that Error couldn't be found anywhere. He had no idea why he was missing, not even a clue to the tight grip that Fate truly had on them. So when Fate takes Error away for not destroying enough and the multiverse starts falling apart from the imbalance, Ink sets out to find Error and restore the balance. But Fate won't make it easy and Error won't be so easy to comply. So when they get stuck on the run together against Fate, will Ink be able to open his eyes to how imperfect their places in the world are? Will either of them see the faults they share instead of the odds setting them apart? Will he get Error to go back to his job? Or will the spark grow and will they connect in a way that convinces them to do away with Fate altogether with their duties and rewrite their purpose? Dream always felt the weight of expectations on his shoulders and they've only grown worse now that he's a Star Sans. Save this AU, rescue that person, stop Nightmare over there, and make X person smile! It's a never-ending cycle of tasks and he gets asked more about why he hasn't done it sooner or defeated his brother yet than thanked for what he accomplished. He feels trapped in this position and doubts if he didn't have his positive aura that anyone would care for him. Most like him for the joy he brings or what he can give them. Nobody around him ever feels genuine without a doubt in his head. Add in the stress of protecting one Star Sans(Swap) and keeping the other(Ink) from starting trouble and you have a positive guardian ready to break under expectations.Then you have Error, the destroyer of AUs. His reputation speaks for himself and builds all the expectations he needs whenever he steps foot into another AU. He's as bad an omen as a black cat crossing your path. Others assume he is bad because of his "freakish" or glitching appearance. He has accepted these but it gets tiring when he already has the voices bossing him around or Fate reminding him that he should do more destruction. But he doesn't limit himself to destruction. He watches UnderNovela, admires the stars, and appreciates what he can. He pushes the limits of what is expected of him or disregards them completely. A trait that Dream eventually finds himself admiring in him, the known enemy of his friend. He knows that Error's feelings are genuine since he doesn't change in his presence(still an angry manchild). So when Dream gets wounded and stuck with Error on a whim, where will it take them? Will it be a mistake remaining in a hatred of enemies or will it change them both for the better? Could this admiration open Error up to corrupting Dream or will he be the influence Dream needs to against expectations and live for himself?…

I'm going to experiment with this one. I have a better understanding of Geno becoming Error in the fandom and want to toy with it a bit. What if Geno had Goth at the time that he became Error in the antivoid? How would that relationship turn out? Now Error raised Goth as the only parent Goth knows closely, protecting him from the multiverse outside(especially INK). They work together as he destroys and Goth reaps, determined to help. They catch the attention of many across the AUs, from the gang to friends like Palette or Blue. When Reaper starts to notice the imbalance on the lists, he starts getting suspicious. Will he be able to reconnect and find his family again? Will he be able to love Ge-ERROR again and have Goth as his son? Or is it too late for this family to be complete and has fate taken their chance away for good with other plans?-Based loosely on other ErrorReaper/Destructivedeath content like the Extinction Origin Comic and others so let's see where this goes.…
