The music fills the silence distracting him from the nightmares of the night he 'died'. The night he really saw the danger to it all. One night Wally runs over to Wayne Manor after having a nightmare that Dick had actually died that night. He runs over to find Dick just singing. Wally finds his voice calming and they come up with an arrangement for Wally to come over and for Robin to sing.
