Shade Upton, a child of Hades, has found himself in a bit of a problem. Namely, it seems his powers are becoming a bit uncontrollable. And on top of that, he recently got the news that the reason his powers are getting so out of hand is because he's not your typical demigod. Johnny LeBeau's having a hard life now. His powers recently set in, he's being attacked left and right by giant forty-foot robots hell-bent on killing him, and to top it off he got dragged into the foster care system, meaning he's bouncing around between houses... until he caught someone breaking into the orphanage, that is. That was when he realized the horrible truth and gravity of what he was caught up in: he's a mutant, those robots are Sentinels, and to add to that the thief he caught revealed himself to be Johnny's dad Remy...
