First of all, let me thank you for coming here today. I'm delighted to be here to tell you about One of the famous places in the northeastern region of Vietnam. I also had the opportunity to come here, so I hope that through my sharing, I can arouse your interest. Welcome to Hoàng Su Phì.

Hoang Su Phi is located in the west of Ha Giang, a small district with a terrain mainly of hills and mountains on the upper reaches of the Chay River. Most of the mountain people living here are ethnic minorities. The majority of which are the Nung, Mong, Tay, Dao and La Chi.

Only about 80km from the center of Ha Giang, you will have many ways to travel to the destination. You can go by coach, use a personal vehicle or rent a motorbike on Ha Giang city. However, to be able to admire the beautiful landscapes in Hoang Su Phi, you must overcome difficult roads and dangerous passes. This place is famous for its terraced fields, the scenery is completely different from other terraced fields areas. You can admire the breathtaking scenery of terraced fields at some of the following locations: Bản Phùng, Hồ Thầu, Thông Nguyên or Nậm Ty.

Ban Phung is located about 30km from Vinh Quang town center, this commune is near the Chinese border. The terraced fields here are located on steep mountain slopes and look very impressive. This place is known for having the highest terraced fields in Vietnam.

As you can see on the screen, there are the photos that I took myself to capture memories. You can wake up early to watch the sunrise in Ban Phung. The picturesque landscape here at dawn will definitely not disappoint you.

Next, I will introduce to you the famous flower of the land at the head of the country. Buckwheat flowers have a wild beauty. Previously, the flower only existed on the rocky plateau. But now, this flower has been grown on terraced fields in Hoang Su Phi. The end of the ripe rice season will be the buckwheat flower season.

I am a bit regretful because during the time we went to Hoang Su Phi, the buckwheat flowers had begun to fade, so we missed the most beautiful blooming time of the buckwheat flowers.

When we were backpacking through the passes in Ban Phung, the tour guide told me many stories about the culture, history and people here. One of the stories that impressed me the most was the funeral custom of the La Chi ethnic group. The sacrificial object for the dead of their ethnic group is a buffalo. They believe that death is a transition to another world, so they still need a buffalo to plow, so they send buffaloes to the dead to get capital to do business. When a relative in the family dies, the family and the village will slaughter a buffalo to offer as an offering. The buffalo's head is kept intact, stuck on the end of a stick and buried in front of the deceased's grave.

There are many interesting things in this land but I hope you can experience it yourself.
