Isabelle's pov

I'm back home. Ray made dinner, it looks delicious. We eat and after eating we move to the living room where I tell them about work today and my journey in a few weeks to America for work. Adeya is over the moon, I know the only thing I'll be hearing in this house for the next three weeks is our journey to the States. Ray has been trying to talk me into travelling with him in two weeks instead of the already planned three weeks.
I:"No Ray. Two weeks is a bit too soon."
R:"you don't need to stay in a hotel or some apartment, you can stay at my place, please Isabelle."
I:"i don't know Ray. It's way too soon for that"
R:"just think about it"
I:"okay. At least give me your card or something, so we can come visit you at your office and check the place out, what do you think?"
R:"sure!"
I get Adey ready for bed. She says her prayers and I leave for my room. When I open the door to my room. I see lit scented candles and rose petals. What's going on?
I:"Ray?"
R:"isabelle I have been thinking of the perfect way to do this, but I can't wait any longer. Since we're starting again, Isabelle will you make me the happiest man in the world by being my girlfriend? I've been waiting for the right time, but I know for sure that there's no perfect time, every time is perfect. So, will you? Please?"
Omg! Damn it, I love this man.
I:" of course! Yes yes!"
He hugs me and we kiss. I know this is a step in the right direction, I have my fears, but my love for him is greater.

**two weeks later**
Ray left for the States yesterday and that's when I realise its a week to our departure. I decided to not tell my parents or the girls about going to America. I want to surprise them. They'll be so happy. My bags are already packed and so are Adey's. I told Bo my plans, she's so happy for me, she and baxter offered to take us to the airport. The hard part about this whole trip has been settled, which was getting the right designs for Ellen. We finally agreed on one, at least she loves it. That's always my aim, for my clients to be happy in the end and that's what I'm going to do. I'm super nervous about going back to the States, but I'm pretty prepared. We leave next week Friday and my P.A will be joining the next week. It's still work after all. I'm actually pretty stoked with the fact that I won't have to move around a lot. The project, Ray's office, Nadia and jess are all in the same state. The only time I might be getting in a plane will be to visit my parents or Mel.
