Isabelle's pov

Here I am in Nadias apartment, distraught, heartbroken and confused. I can't believe I've been fooled by another guy!

My thoughts are jumbled.

Ray seemed different, right?... He was perfect! Was it me? Did I push him away? What did I do wrong?

I didn't know I was crying till Nadia offered me a tissue.

There's an impatient rapping on the door and since it's late at night, I know it's Jess.

Once Nadia opens up she walks straight to me and engulfs me in a comforting hug and Nadia joins, we're now in a group hug... My girls!

Jess pulls back and so does Nadia, I give them a half hearted smile.

"Don't try and act like everything is alright, okay? I know you're hurting so let it all out so you can heal faster. You need to be strong for the baby, he/she needs that. Okay?"

I nod, and place my hand on my belly and gently rub it... She's right, I need to be strong for my baby.

"So... What's the plan? What's next? Are you going to talk to him or?"

"No! I'm done trying to understand why guys treat me like trash. I'm so done with that cycle. I'm going to raise this baby on my own and be there for him/her. I wish I could just go someplace else and start over... A fresh start."

"Yeah... A fresh start."

Nadia mumbles.

"I agree that's what you and peanut need."

Jess says.

"Peanut?"

I give her a puzzled look.

"Yeah the baby."

Leave it to Jess to nickname my baby peanut.

"I have a cousin who lives abroad, in Europe... She's an artist."

Nadia says.

"Bo?"

I ask.

"Yes Bo, I can talk to her for you..."

Nadia says.

Bo, short for Bonnie is Nadias cousin. We all grew up together, we were inseparable.

That is till her family had to move because of her dad's job... We Skype once in a while.

I don't think it's a bad idea... I need a change of environment, somewhere fresh.

"Uhm, but what about you guys, how do I survive without you two? My parents, everyone I know is here."

I say.

My parents, I haven't informed them about recent developments.

I think I'll need to go home and inform  them of my plans.

Will they be mad? Most definitely, I mean which parent won't be?

"Calm down isa. We're not asking you to pack up and leave immediately. We're just weighing our options. Bo seems like a sensible option for now, don't worry about us, we can always come visit you. But you need to go see your parents, at least for a week."

Nadia explains.

"Thanks guys, I don't know what..."

I start, but I'm cut off by Nadia.

"Shh, shh, shh, that's enough... We'll get through this together."

Nadia says and we share a brief hug.

"So, what do we do about Ray?"

Jess asks.

"What do you mean what do we do about him. First chance I get to see him I'm breaking his nose."

Nadia says annoyed.

We all laugh.

"There girl, that's the laughter we want to see all the time."

Jess says.

"I love you two so much... That means I have to resign from introspect."

I say.

"You leave, I leave... I'm so done with that place."

Jess says.

"You're crazy, what will you do then?"

I ask Jess.

"I don't care if I become a stripper as long as I don't remind myself everyday not to use my hands on Ms Smith."

Jess says.

We laugh so hard.
