**present day**

Isabelle's pov

Finally three weeks have gone by and I'm almost done with the project.

It's been looking good so far, I'm so proud of myself.

Ray is taking me out today. I'm just glad I had enough rest during the day as its Saturday.

**doorbell**

"Coming."

I check the peephole and its, Nadia? - She didn't call.

"Hey boo."

"We don't have enough time, have you had your bath?"

"Uhm what's going on?"

"Omg isa! I'm here to get you dolled up for your outing with Ray, now have you had your shower?"

"Why?... And yes I've had my bath."

"Then seat and no further questions."

"Yes ma'am."

Okay Nadia is one scary lady, so I'll rather not argue with her.

**1hr30mins later**

"Omg Nadia I look dreamy!"

I squeal.

"Only the best for my girl."

She fake cries and we laugh.

"Thanks a lot baby girl, I appreciate."

We hug and not a second later,

**doorbell**

"Coming!"

I open the door and see an old man, he's smartly dressed and looks like, a chauffeur?

"Hi, good evening sir, how may I - eh help you?"

"Evening miss... I've been sent by Mr Carter to drive you to his location. Are you ready?"

He says with a sweet smile.

"Oh wow... I'm Isa - call me isa , and you are?"

I ask holding out my hand.

"I'm Mr Clarke, I'll be your chauffeur for the evening."

"Nice to meet you, I'll just get my..."

I'm cut short by Nadia who is pushing me out with a clutch.

"Have fun sweetie."

I playfully glare at her and wave bye.

I try to call Ray but he's not picking up... Wow okay.

**30mins later**

We arrive at a park... I'm led to an open space decorated with beautiful lights and there's an orchestra playing.

While I'm admiring the scene before me, a hand goes round my waist. I don't need to turn to know who it is as the familiar scent I love hits me.

"Do you like it?"

What's that I hear Ray, nervous?

I turn and face him.

"I love it, it's so beautiful! You went all out now didn't you?"

I kiss him.

He let's out a breath almost as if he was holding it for a while... This man.

What did he think, I wouldn't like it? Its beautiful out here. No one has ever done this much for me.

"Anything for you babe... Now let's go eat."

He leads me to a table I didn't see before, a waiter brings menu's along with wine.

Hmmn, fancy.

Our order arrives and, we eat and drink, and make conversation.

"Shall I have this dance?"

"Of course charming."

I say with a wide smile which mirrors the one on his face.

We dance for a while...

"You know from the first day I met you, I knew I wanted to meet you again. Then I did, and I knew I couldn't afford to lose you. I didn't understand love until you came along. You've made my life a thousand times more interesting, never a dull moment with you. From the melodic laughter to the screaming arguments."

He chuckles.

"I know and I'm sure that even now I can't afford to lose you. And I want to spend forever understanding and loving you."

He stops dancing and goes down on one knee.

"Isabelle Grace Brooke, will you do me the honour again, but this time to be my wife?... Will you marry me? Make me the happiest man on this planet and the galaxies?"

I'm surprised, wide eyed just looking at him and a tear slips out.

"Yes!"

I scream, with misty eyes.

I join him on the floor and we laugh and kiss and laugh.

He slides the ring on my finger, it's so beautiful.

Then I hear laughter and clapping, and I turn around.

My mum, my dad, his mum, Nadia, Jess, Oscar, some of my colleagues at work, even Ms Smith, etc... Are all there clapping for us.

They come forward to congratulate us.

I'm overwhelmed with joy and I can't help but grin.

I look over at him and he looks so happy with a face splitting grin.

This day couldn't get better!
