part one :: sleepover

it was mid summer break and ennoshita chikara's family was holding a get together. of course, the hasegawa family and the yamaguchi family showed up.

it was around 8:45 and tadashi, [name], chikara, and chikara's younger brother were playing in chikara's room on their game cube.

YAMAGUCHI TADASHI

tadashi waved his phone infront of [name]'s
face, the [haircolor] girl sighing once again.

for context, they had played a round of
mario kart. the bet was, if tadashi placed
higher than [name] then he was allowed to
set her up with one of his friends from
his team.

"i don't think she would be interested
in kageyama, he's.. something else"

HASEGAWA [NAME]
"kageyama? as in kageyama tobio?"

YAMAGUCHI TADASHI

that was until he met her

underneath the slide sobbing next to him,
crying of how she had gotten rejected
by her crush since primary school

after he had wrapped his arms around
her when she first started sobbing,
they had been talking for a while.

knew and he still encouraged me.
i feel so betrayed by him"

KAGEYAMA TOBIO
"then why stay friends?
you shouldn't let these people
get in your way of becoming the

the emotional girl stared at him
sniffling quietly, with a scared look on her face,
if kageyama understood right, this blonde boy was most likely her crush and
he was searching for her.

HASEGAWA [NAME]
"hey, before i go i wanna say thank you.
i know we never introduced ourselves,
but i'm hasegawa [name]!"

KAGEYAMA TOBIO
"ah, well i'm kageyama."

HASEGAWA [NAME]

before he could reply, she engulfed him
in a hug before running off.
leaving him starstruck forever.

convenience store by my house to pick up a
snack. and just to my luck, i ran into
tsukishima kei.

i had my fruit sandwich in hand, and my earbuds in with gee by girls generation going.
i was interrupted at the climax of the song
when i had first noticed him

TSUKISHIMA KEI
"oh hey."

HASEGAWA [NAME]
"oh. it's you"

the last thing i wanted was to see him.
we hadn't really spoken since junior high
and i knew very well that i still
had feelings for him.
no matter what i told myself

"surely has; well i think i'm gonna pay and head home. had a long night"

1) i took inspiration from how i got set up
with this one guy who i am now close with and made it into an actual love story like how it was supposed to be!! but for me, it turned out me and him were **distantly** related, (he's related to one of my grandmas who married into my family) now we're just best friends and i see him like family (is that weird??)

2) yamaguchi wasn't actually sleeping. he was just afraid of getting in trouble
