Beneath her pretty cute looks, lays a exceptionally cunning and calculative little girl.

Dubbed as the 21st century's 'Irene Adler', the 6 year old devious head-leader often goes about using any underhand tactics for the sake of aiding their investigation in Tantei association, or to satisfy her amusement or sake of limited time event that involves her video games.

She is incapable of feeling empathy on occasions throughout her antics, despite others would often try to reasoned to her why she shouldn't do it and challenged her questionable decisions. It also didnt help that she tends to be insensitive towards the victims of the case. This would often put her at odds with everyone at times, even her long suffering partner, Kudo Shinichi.

As the founder of Tantei association, she is often described to be indifferent on what she classifies as 'trivial things'.

She has a tragic secret that not even her own partner-in-crime/co-founder, Kudo Shinichi, is aware about, one that led her to ultimately becoming the tantei she is today. She is also rumored to have 'outside the box' thinking that would often led others to label her a 'psychopath'.

Kudo Shinichi, age 6-7.

Co-founder of tantei association, Ranran's tantei apprentice/ partner in crime

Due to his privilege upbringing, his famous mystery writer father have connections on taking him to see crime scenes as a child for story inspiration purposes, inspiring him into becoming a Tantei. But a series of events dampened his pride as he questions his tantei dreams. He made plans on renouncing his Tantei dream, as he was later drawn to the enigmatic yet selfish Kudo Ranran, who care less about the laws and rules of the world while she schemes about, which resulted in Shinichi eagerly to use his tantei talents in guiding her from being led astray.

As co-founder, he runs Tantei association with an Iron fist along side his partner, due to the amount of inconvenience cause by a certain specific member whenever they are solving cases. Though he would often clash with Ranran on her unethical methods in obtaining evidence and stuff, he would often secretly turn a blind eye and let her schemes slide past him, with the exception of obtaining cases that adults wouldn't allow to get them be involve it (or for his convenience).

He is often accused of being a sis-con by the members of the association due to him having the tendency on putting the entire Tantei association under tremendous pressure whenever something bad happens to her, in which he denies.

Mouri Ran (age 6-7):

"Justice doesnt necessarily need to be this cruel."

A childhood friend of Kudo Shinichi who had a crush of him since kindergarten, she has a father who is a private investigator. The kindest and nurturing member, she is also self-sufficient for her age, since her father Kogoro is often drunk, slovenly, and fiscally irresponsible since her mother left him after a feud.

She joins the Tantei Association out of desperation, after her best friend since kindergarten was implicated into one of Ranran's supposed schemes, a rich heiress by the name of Suzuki Sonoko.

Ran was often described to be the 'mother' of the group, having resolve the many ongoing issues that takes place within or beyond Tantei association, such as providing them cold case files without the help of the police and providing them the equipment that didn't require them to stretch their budgets, to resolving internal affairs and conflicting personal issues amongst members.

She can at times have a overwhelming personality that would intimidate people around her (except Ranran, whom she knows she can never beat despite Ranran not having karate lessons). Tends to be hot-blooded and act on impulses when the people she cares about are involved; the combination of jumping to conclusions and her lack of brains on occasion like her detective father was enough to set her karate onto anyone.

Her annoyance would be at times set off whenever Shinichi put the selfish Ranran's welfare a lot more than herself, as Ranran's scheming and cunning ways involving endangering the lives of clients, suspects, even innocent people alike tend to contradict Shinichi and Ran's belief on justice.

Miyama Emiko (8-9 years old):

"The hierarchy of life is no different than school, completely unstable. It's no wonder.....kids like Ranran are born to either balance it or destroy the scales of justice completely."

The only talented witness sketch artist of the association, she was always kicked out of every-single-school-club outcast due to her sharp blunt nature.

Having fallen beyond the school's hierarchy after her parents divorce, Emiko took a different route to avoid being bullied by becoming the school's intel, trading in whatever secrets the students seeks within the school, in exchange for a peaceful life but at the price of not having friends (due to her nature of work). Emiko was roped in tantei association after a series of unexpected event.

She chooses to joins Tantei association as a way to break way from her dysfunctional broken family and make a name for herself, as her parents were going through a toxic divorce.

Having developed a perceptive insight since young, she is used to adapting her to handle any matters that goes within in and out of Tantei association: whether be it handling cases or personal affairs of the members.

She is a pro but don't tell her that; it'll go to her head.

Her name meant Beautiful blessed child.

Majima Michio (9-10 years old):

"If one is a good guy, one has to stick to it without breaking the rules.....I thought it was that easy....how wrong, how very wrong I was."

The eldest boy and informant for the Kudo Twins in the group, 10 year old Michio is also the main sponsor for the crime room, both within and beyond the school.

Having hired as a baby sitter by the Kudo twins grandparents to oversee neither two die under their detective shenanigans, he is also the only member to have the most freedom, being allow to roam anywhere almost without curfew or adult supervision, which brings much convenience to Shinichi and Ranran, as the adults in their lives made things hard from letting them go out on their home on occasion to investigate during late night hours.

His late father, Majima Goro was a infamous detective till he died in an accident unexpectedly when he was a baby. Although easily swayed by pretty girls as he has no father figure around him to teach him the basics, he ensures on making sure that he will never let anything from the association be disclose to the girls he falls for.

Unfortunately he came with a package deal with a possessive childhood friend, Junko.

His name was initially planned to be 'Michiko' by both his parents, because at that time, it was thought that he was to be a girl. But shortly after he was born, and with his father's untimely passing, his mother gave the name 'Michio'.

The meaning of his name meant 'wise man on a journey/mission'.

He is also from the Astronomy club.

Fuyuko Junko (9-10 years old):

"Justice is simple, just leave it to the cops. It didnt need to be this messy!"

The unfortunate package deal that came along with Michio, she is the eldest girl within the association. Knowing Michio since little, she is obsessive and clingy when it comes to him, due to her love for him. She joined the association ordered by Michio's mother, after learning he was nearly a victim in a dangerous case gone wrong, much to the horror of the entire association.

As the only secretary of association, she documented every single case file that had taken place, be in school or beyond the school. She was the most unlikable member, often times going against almost everybody, as she tend to put her love for Michio above logic and reasoning.

On occasion, she tends to drag or interfere the investigation down to its knees, or at times to a halt, due to her opposing views against the association's leader, Kudo Ranran, over her decisions that tend to go overboard, driving conflict between the two. Her mouth often landed at times, the entire group, to go against her many many times.

Not that the anti-heroine cared, which frustrates the elder girl even more when the younger girl constantly mocks her with disrespect, let alone, mocks Junko being delusional that Michio is her boyfriend. She is a member of the school's literature club, as well as martial arts in school.

Her name means: Obedient child born in the Winter

Hikari Takuma (6-7 years old):

"Justice is a cruel vicious road filled with thorns."

Ranran's close friend, he is half Korean and half Japanese, due to having a Japanese-American father and a Korean mother.

Also the school's top star athlete when it comes to football,an incident once threatened to rip away his dream, and almost lose his place in Teitan Elementary. With his reputation almost reaching down the gutters, his childhood girlfriend enlisted the help of the eccentric Kudo Ranran to prove his innocence, and the three became friends since.

Often seen wearing a cap, he enjoys fishing during his free time and is often seen sleeping at times in the association. But don't let that carefree, lazy like manner of him fool you, as in the association, he is aware of the things going on during meetings.

His role as locator was a huge beneficiary in Tantei association, whether it be for staking out or locating suspects, as he knows every single location in and out of Beikai district like the back of his hand. He can often be seen discussing with Michio, as Michio is the informant and messenger for the Kudo twins.
