"Kai, Kai, Kai, Kai, Kai!" Stiles hollers as he all but trips over himself to rush over to me.

I let out a sigh, bracing myself. This day has drug on forever, I'm overstimulated beyond belief, and I ate my last fruit roll up last class period... I'm ready to go home.

"Sorry, there's no one here by that name, please leave a message at the beep." I smirk at him as he drips off the side of my backpack, very unamused.

He makes a mockingly-twisted face before yanking me off the side. "Very funny."

"Wha- ah!" I let out as he leads us to the stairs.

"Look!" Stiles frantically points to the upper level. I squint my eyes to find Dad and another police officer.

"Dad's here?" I turn to him with curious, yet puzzled, expression.

"Dad's here." He nods before shifting his gaze to something behind me. He flies past me and I quickly spin to find not something, but someone.

Scott.

"Hey, come here." Stiles grabs Scott from behind pulling him over to me.

"What?" Scott looks at him funny before smiling at me. "Hi, Kai."

I grin back. "Hi Scott." Bless him for always putting up with us.

"Tell us what they're saying." Stiles demands.

"Uh, please." I throw in.

Scott peaks around the cinderblock as Stiles and I lean forward, hovering on him. Personal space does not exist in this friendship.

"Can you hear them?" Stiles asks causing Scott and I to jolt slightly.

I glare at him while Scott shushes him.

After a very long minute, Scott turns. "Curfew because of the body." He fills us in.

"Unbelievable." Stiles pats his arm, stepping back. I join him. "Our dad's out looking for a rabid animal while the jerkoff's who actually killed the girl are just hanging out, doing whatever they want." He rants.

I let out a sigh. Why would there be a curfew for some dumb animal anyway? Or, better yet, why would the Hale's team up and kill that woman? My head is starts that spinning feeling again.

"You can't exactly tell your dad the truth about Derek and Grayson." Scott points out. Yep, he's defintely right there.

'Hey dad, you know Derek and Grayson Hale? No? Well, they supposedly banded together for a family night and killed the girl that's body is split in half. How so? Well, turns out they're the animals you're looking for. How do we know that? You see... because one of them bit our dear friend Scott while the other one watched. Mhmm, mhmm, yes, yes we are insane.'

That is not a conversation I want to have with dad anytime soon. I think I'd rather have the birds and the bees talk, and the thought of that conversation makes me want to rip my ears off.

"We can do something." Stiles inputs.

"We can?" I turn to my brother confused.

"Like what?" Scott asks deflated.

"Like find the other half of the body." He says confidently.

I gasp excitedly. "Yes! Now we're talking!" I rub my hands together, ready to go to work.

"Are you kidding?" Scott calls after him as he walks off determined.

"I think you know the answer to that, Scottie!" I chime, following after Stiles.

Scott shakes his head as he leaves the twins, approaching Allison as Lydia smugly walks away with one of the lacrosse boys.

"So, Lydia's introducing you to everyone?" Scott asks, knowing the conversation he shared with the strawberry blonde earlier that day in class.

She threatened to introduce all the lacrosse guys to Allison if Scott didn't play.

"She's being so unbelievably nice to me." Allison comments sweetly, not knowing Lydia's true intention.

"I wonder why." Scott replies warily, knowing the real reason.

"Maybe she gets how much being the new girl can suck." Allison notes, bitterness laced in her voice.

Scott nods, knowing he's not going to win that battle, as his eyes travel to the blazer in Allison's hands... He digs through his memory, seeing the jacket hanging off a branch in the wood's the other night of the party.

"Where did you get that?" He rushes out.

"My jacket?" Allison looks down cluelessly. "It was in my locker. I think Lydia brought it back from the party. She has my combination..." She rambles before Scott abruptly cuts her off.

"Did she say she brought it back? Or did somebody give it to her?" He asks forcefully.

"Like who?" She looks at him, lost.

"Like Derek. And Grayson." Scott says.

"Your friends?"

"They're not my friends." Scott corrects her sharply. "How much did you talk to them when they drove you home?"

"Mmm, not much at all." She thinks back. Grayson made a couple smart comments and Derek pretty much stayed quiet.

"What did you say?" Scott continues to interrogate.

Allison pauses for a moment. "I gotta get to class. I..."

"Allison-"

"No, I really have to go."

Scott angrily rides his bike up to the remains of the Hale house after his conversation with Allison, thankfully being at the end of the day.

"Derek!" He screams, flying off his bike and throwing his helmet down. "Grayson!" His backpack is next to plop to the ground.

Inside the house, Grayson's rings slide down his guitar strings in annoyance at the McCall boy's voice. He suppresses a groan as he looks up to find Derek nodding at him to follow.

Can't there be one moment of fucking peace around here? The youngest Hale thinks to himself as he lays his guitar gently to the side and follows.

Outside Scott sniffs, eyes shifting to the side of the house to see a freshly-dug pile of dirt. An odd feeling creeps upon him and his jolts back a bit as Derek and Grayson appear on the porch. "Stay away from her! She doesn't know anything."

Grayson merely stays put, one hand shoved in his hoodie pocket as the other brings a can up to his lips, trying not to laugh.

"Yeah? What if she does?" Derek starts down the steps before jumping off all together. "You think your little buddies Stiles and Kai can just google 'Werewolves' and now you've got all the answers, is that it?" Derek fire at him.

"If only it were that easy." Grayson mutters as he moves to lean against one of the chipped pillars. "Your little friends don't know shit." Flashes of the two idiots flare up in his mind as they practically fall over each other rushing up to the Argent girls door the other night.

"You don't get it yet, Scott, but we're looking out for you." Derek proceeds as Grayson opens his mouth to object but decides to close it, for once. "Think about what could happen. You're out on the field, the aggression takes over and you shift in front of everyone."

"Or do you have your head so far up the little Argent girls ass that that never occurred to you?" Grayson shouts snarkily from the porch, slowly making his way down the steps.

Derek scoops up Scott's lacrosse stick. "Your mom, all your friends, and when they see you—" He taps Scott's chest with the stick and he slaps it away to which Derek pulls it back to himself before he rips the net with his claws. Grayson smirks as he comes to a halt beside Derek. "Everything falls apart."

Grayson sucks in the air between his tongue and teeth. "Ooo, sorry about that." He chuckles.

Derek tosses the stick up and when Scott catches it...him and Grayson are gone.
