When they promised to not leave each other, Hyunjin meant it and he won't push Minho away anymore like he used to do.

Now thinking about it, Hyunjin doesn't know when Minho started liking him or why he wouldn't move despite he was away from him for 3 years.

Didn't Minho use others to forget about him? Just like he did with jiyun?

Hyunjin felt the urge to ask the older who were now cooking their dinner.

He was currently at his apartment that Minho recently bought, a place to settle down from all his hard work of being an Olympic skateboarder.

The younger was impressed by who his hyung becomes and feels proud that he got to call him his best friend and now his lover.

Hyunjin:"hyung...when you were out in Canada...have you ever considered finding someone new other than me"

Minho sealed his lips into a thin line humming as well and tried to remember the day he thought of someone other than Hyunjin.

Minho:"you should appreciate my hard work for keeping those feelings for you for three years despite you being taken"

Hyunjin lowered his head, he doesn't deserve the other because all he did was push him away while Minho didn't give up on him and always got that glimpse of hope in them.

Hyunjin:"since when you start having these feelings for me?"

He asked just when Minho turned off the stove and flipped the food into a plate to serve them on the table.

Minho:"I wonder when..."

He held his chopsticks and fed Hyunjin the food he made, the younger munch on it then widened his eyes hiding his hand with his mouth then went loud saying "amazing!! This is so delicious" for Minho to chuckle and tell him to eat until he's full.

He then kept watching Hyunjin eat his food and remembering the day he first realized that the younger meant more than a friend to him.

Hyunjin:"hyung hurry up!! We're going to be late"

The young boy shouted when he saw his friend running towards the bus to catch Up and when he did it, he grabbed Hyunjin's hands who pulled him in and that resulted in Minho falling over him.

Minho:"Hyunjin, are you okay?"

He pulled himself up feeling a little pain in his head and then went to check on Hyunjin who was wincing in pain as well, Minho's eyes got wide spotting the red bruise in Hyunjin's forehead just for him to shout "OHH MY GOD!! YOU'RE BLEEDING?!" with pulling out his napkin to wipe the blood away.

Hyunjin:"stop hyung...I'm not a baby I can take ca-owwie it hurts!!"

Baby tears were formed around his eyes for Minho to wipe them with his thumbs after.

Minho:"don't cry hyunjin, it's gone now"

Hyunjin wasn't crying because of the bruise but crying over saying goodbye to Minho since he's going to go to high school from today and his middle school is far away from it.

He couldn't help it as he wrapped his arms around Minho hugging him.

Hyunjin:"I'm going to miss you, hyung...let's play video games at your house in the evening"

Minho looked at his dongseang with heart eyes as he caresses his hair gently with chuckling a little bit and saying "sure, let's play video games tonight"

Minho then dropped at the first stop since his high school isn't far and he just got into the bus because of Hyunjin.

As a freshman, he finds it hard to fit in since he had that aura around him that pushed people away from him but he didn't care if he had friends or not because Hyunjin is the only person he wants.

And later that night both had spent their time playing all night and then Hyunjin got to leave but Minho stopped him.

Minho:"why don't you stay the night over?"

Hyunjin was confused, for their 3 years of friendship he doesn't find it weird that the other wants him to stay over.

Hyunjin:"sure, but you know what you have to offer so I could be convinced enough to stay"

Minho chuckled nodding his head then started walking to his drawer to bring out and give Hyunjin what he was talking about.

Minho:"here you go, 𝘊𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘺~"

He gives him the bag of sour candy for Hyunjin to knot his eyebrows together confused on being called by the sudden nickname.

Hyunjin:"did you...did you just call me candy?"

He wanted to laugh it out but Minho's flushed face wasn't any help and Hyunjin thought he was being serious for a second until his hyung let out a dry chuckle.

Minho:"ohh sorry, I didn't mean it like that hehe sorry"

Hyunjin relaxed his tiff shoulders and put his hand on top of his chest letting out a "phew" sound.

Hyunjin:"were you always like this... maybe you mistake me for your girlfriend"

He said throwing the gummy worms inside his mouth and walked towards the bed where they would be sleeping together while Minho stayed in his place hating how he was almost caught.

Minho(under his mouth):"but I don't have one"

He then walked towards the bed and slept beside Hyunjin who already fell asleep and for Minho, he stayed up looking at him with heart eyes.

Minho:"I don't know what is happening to me because I'm not seeing you as a friend anymore"

And that's how a 17 year old teenager awakens his feelings towards his best friend and only realizes them later just to confess after 3 years and getting on a whole sour messy love cycle just to win this sleepy person laying beside him after another three enduring years.

Minho smiled while remembering the memory, Hyunjin used to be so clueless about his feelings and that gives him the ability to hug him and cuddle him without being rejected since the younger was so carefree and clingy to him too.

Hyunjin:"aren't you bored? Wanna do something?"

He said bringing Minho from his thoughts who stared at the younger for seconds until he realized what he said.

Minho:"ohh, uhm...I've got video games on the latest version of the PlayStation I bought"

Hyunjin widened his eyes when he heard that his boyfriend owns the latest version of the PlayStation, it wasn't shipped into korea yet and Hyunjin got the date which would be dropped in the market to buy one himself since he also loves video games.

But he never thought he would get to play with it so soon.

Hyunjin:"yes! Let's play with it!! How did you buy that tho...it isn't on the markets yet"

Minho chuckled then playfully scratched the younger's chin before saying "I bought them from Canada, it was a great offer since the seller was one of my fans" Hyunjin admired his boyfriend talking about his experience in another country and wished to go there someday.

Hyunjin:"sounds like Canada wasn't as bad after all"

Minho examined Hyunjin's facial expression looking like he wanted to go there so bad which caused the older to put a sly on his face and lean towards Hyunjin's ears to whisper in his ears.

Minho:"we can go there for our honeymoon if you want"

What he said caused Hyunjin to blush entirely and pushed Minho away from him shouting "WE'RE NOT EVEN MARRIED" for Minho to grab his stomach and laughed his lungs out.
