5. Mr. Park, Ten More Reps

Jungkook looked at Jimin walking towards him on his own feet. It had been six weeks since he was living with him and now, well he was healed now and Taehyung was helping him move out of the place. "Thank you so much for being so patient and a wholehearted host. I'll never forget your kindness."

Jungkook was wearing his trainers' clothes, yellow and black faux leather with Nike dunks. Inwardly, he didn't want Jimin to move out, but he knew he had no reason to oppose — not what would convince Jimin anyway. "It's fine...given you blame me for breaking your toe."

The two laughed, Jimin before Jungkook and the latter only kept seeing the eyes that lit up so brightly and the cheeks that stretched, displaying pearly whites. Jimin had one tooth slightly crooked, but Jungkook found perfection in it. His heart told him to not let the moment slip away and to do something, but he wouldn't dare. Over the weeks, he found out Jimin's thoughts about homosexual relationships, and they were not in his favor. For all he knew, it would only make the bronde uncomfortable.

"Well," Jimin sighed, clapping his hands together. "I guess I will see you around."

Nodding, Jungkook stepped closer to Jimin, causing the latter to look as he bent down to hold his bag. "Oh, Jungkook, you don't have to do that."

Choosing not to listen, Jungkook walked out and put Jimin's bag in Taehyung's car which was waiting outside. He felt jealous of Taehyung for good measure, already imagining them having a first fun-filled day in Jimin's new place. At least, the man would come to be trained under him. He could keep seeing Jimin that way.

Mikrokosmos was its usual. The music was blaring and the desirable people were working out to become more desirable. Jimin peeked from behind the glass gate at around five in the evening, seeing Jungkook yelling at someone, his hair drenched in sweat as he showed the lady to do half crunches while holding the position. Within a few seconds, he was inside the premises as he now had card access. Jungkook turned around, and their eyes met, Jimin smiled, but Jungkook only nodded at him.

It felt bizarre to Jimin that the man acted so wryly, but then he thought that Jungkook exhibited extreme professionalism. He always gave results and the bronde remembered how he was when he first talked to him. It bothered him, but he told himself that it was okay and he didn't have to act like Jungkook was his friend inside Mikrokosmos. "Ready, Mr. Park?"

It was now that Jimin's face distorted. Calling him by his surname was uncalled for. "Mm, yes, Mr... Jeon."

Jungkook's eyes weren't on Jimin as he led him toward the stretching zone. "How is your toe now? Is there any difficulty you are facing still?"

"No."

"Good, let me know the moment you do. I need to know everything so that we can stop the training or alter it based on your condition," Jungkook responded indifferently, yet his voice was full of concern. Jimin was getting used to this side of Jungkook, but he knew it might take him a while before he separated his two lives — one inside the training center and one outside where Jungkook was a much warmer person.

"Look straight and follow me. If you have questions, fire away."

Jimin nodded at Jungkook in the mirror, looking at his hand going to his shoulder while he rotated it in a clockwise motion, indicating Jimin to follow. The bronde heeded quickly. From arms to legs, they kept stretching for a good amount of time. Jimin was getting bored, thinking about when would the "actual" workout start. Jungkook walked over to the mat storage and picked one. Jimin kept looking until he pointed at him to go and grab one for himself.

"Of course," Jimin rushed towards the corner and brought one back too. What he didn't realize was that everyone at the place was gawking at them, some even whispering. As the two got down on their respective mats, Jungkook asked Jimin to breathe slowly and relax while folding his left leg and stretching the right one out. The bronde did and looked at Jungkook bending forward to hold his toe with his left arm. He did the same and when it was the turn for the other foot, his eyes fell on the women staring right at him. It bugged him, so he looked away.

After what seemed like a lot of time, fifteen minutes had passed and Jungkook now ushered Jimin towards the equipment area. "Why is everyone looking at me, Jungkook?" He mumbled when they were far from the audience, but not from their gazes.

"Do you see me training anyone else?" Jungkook asked, eyes fixated on the weight bars of the Smith machine.

Jimin felt annoyed by Jungkook's tone now, so he stopped asking questions and put his feet on an extension bench lying beside him to stretch. A few men gawked his ass from behind that Jungkook could tell even when he wasn't directly looking at them. All around the studio were floor-length mirrors installed, and he had been so experienced that he knew what went on when.

"Come on now," Jungkook's voice turned drier by the end of it as he let Jimin sit on the bench.

Pulling the handle that connected the weight by a single string, he pulled it down with just one hand. "Balance it, keep your hands in symmetry, and keep your back straight. Pull slowly while inhaling and let go while exhaling. Don't let go all the way, keep holding the weights at all times."

Jimin had worked out in gyms before and he knew how basic equipment worked. The only difference he found in Jungkook's instructions was that he had asked him to keep his back straight while the other trainers at the gym had him lean ahead while puffing his chest. Not wanting to question Jungkook's expertise, Jimin pulled down the bar with ease.

"Ten reps, nice and slow."

Jimin complied, easily doing the reps and just as he was done, Jungkook increased the weight.

"Thirty seconds break and ten reps again."

Jimin breathed, counting seconds and stretching his fingers before Jungkook pulled down on the bar, again with a single hand to make it reach Jimin's hands as the bronde was sitting on the bench and Jungkook was standing behind him, entirely covering his body intentionally from anyone else's eyes to see.

Jimin fixed his hands at symmetry before pulling the bar down once, this time, it wasn't with so much ease.

"Thirty seconds break and ten more reps."

Jimin's back was now sweating under his blue hoodie. He could understand why Jungkook was drenched as if he had just poured water on his head. The songs kept reverberating through the speakers and Avicii's Level started playing as Jimin breathed softly, counting to thirty seconds.

His shoulder muscles were still stinging when Jungkook walked ahead leisurely, increasing the weight further up. Before Jimin could ask him to not increase more, he was being handed the bar again. Holding onto it, Jimin breathed, already feeling the stretch on his hands as the weight of the iron bars was pulling him towards it. He held onto it strongly.

"Now."

Jungkook's tone had a warning and Jimin pulled the bar down, face distorting as it was taking a lot of effort. By the time he was on the seventh repetition, his hands trembled and Jungkook immediately put his one hand on the bar, pushing it down in the direction of Jimin pulling it.

"Come on! Two more!"

The trainer's voice was encouraging and Jimin finished the reps in seconds with a little help.

"Breathe," Jungkook asked Jimin and was already moving to the other equipment. This equipment was a chest press, for chest muscles.

"Sit here."

Jimin sat on the bench silently and looked at a few men waving at him and so he waved back hesitantly. Jungkook fixed the weight at the top-most bar, the lowest weight, and walked around.

"Give me ten reps, Jimin," Jungkook didn't stand and sat right in front of Jimin's face at an inclined bench. The bronde didn't miss the informal tone and he easily finished the reps.

"Increase the weight, two bars."

Jimin turned to his left to pull out the pin from the iron bar and push it into the lower bars. The lowest bar meant the highest weight, and the top bar was the lightest. Jimin knew he was supposed to do ten reps. He finished it and then increased the weight, repeating.

Jungkook made all his upper body parts, including, the chest, shoulders, biceps, triceps, and back trained on different equipment. By the end of it, Jimin's brown locks were sprawled over his forehead as he raked his hands through them.

Jungkook stood silently with creases on his forehead as Jimin finished his last rep on the last equipment. "You are strong. But I am still not going to ask you to do leg equipment today. Just give me three sets of squats."

Jungkook's speed, voice, pitch modulation, everything was so different that Jimin could see him as an entirely different person. "Okay, am I done after that?"

"We'll see."

Jungkook beckoned him towards the functional training area from where the other men were gawking at him. As the two joined there, Jungkook could hear people's exaggerated yells and screams as they lifted heavy tires or climbed the rope. This section focused on people's core strengths. A lot of men here posed interest in Jungkook, but the man was so professional, he wouldn't allow anyone to speak one sentence that wasn't related to workout or the overall other wellness programs.

While Jimin was squatting, Jungkook's assistant rushed to him with his phone. Jungkook looked at the screen and then at Jimin. "Three reps and then find me."

Jimin nodded and with his ass poking in the air and knees bent, he saw Jungkook answering the call and walking out of the gym area towards the client lobby where the music was relatively lower.

"Hey," a man walked over to Jimin and he reciprocated.

"First day?"

"That obvious?" Jimin asked, doubting his form as it had been long since he worked out, being busy with his girlfriend, and his work as an event planner.

"No, actually. You were quite good. Not many people can bench that much weight on the first day. You must have worked out before."

"I used to," Jimin huffed after stopping his squatting. "But I haven't been to any gym in two years."

"You must have some big connections to get Mr. Jeon as your personal trainer. He doesn't train personally. I haven't seen him train anyone in two years."

"You've been training for two years?" Jimin asked, clearly impressed by the man's discipline.

"Yeah, still couldn't get Mr. Jeon to train me."

Jimin now understood where he was getting at.

"I should go. Jung- Mr. Jeon asked me to find him."

"Wait," the man stopped him. "Let's see how much can you deadlift."

"I don't think I should without asking Mr. Jeon."

"No, no. I mean I know the newbie regime. Mr. Jeon is a big fan of it and he makes people deadlift quite a lot on the first day." The man stopped Jimin, wanting to talk to him more to get something personal out of him.

Jimin looked at the weight and the rod and shrugged, walking over to the bar. Putting twenty-five at each side of it, he lifted it with ease. It made his back feel like it was having an orgasm of its own after assaulting his body for the last hour and a half and so Jimin chuckled, repeating it over.

"Mr. Park!" Jungkook's loud voice made him fall from the bar to the floor and he looked around.
