I have a best friend
Brown locks and jade eyes
Who's there during tribulations,
And there during my moments of pride.

I have a best friend
Whose voice is rich and bold
She can outsmart the most clever,
And get through with hearts ever so cold.

I have a best friend
Her heart is as bright as the sun
Her smile twinkles like the North Star,
Guiding others from a world without sunshine and fun.

I have a best friend
The one that has your back
Our friendship shall last eternally,
Without a stop, without any slack.

She will be remembered dearly
Once the day has finally come,
When she will departure from my side
In a new world she will smile and call home.
