52. Epilogue # 1 - Juggling Between Classes

AN: Jungkook's character was inspired by me (only some%). I am a high school senior and during my entire high school and middle school, I only dreamed that someone would adopt me, feed me, and buy me clothes, but selflessly, without expecting anything in return. It isn't reality so it doesn't have to be logical, right? You have the liberty to dream of anything you want.

I am not saying I am not ambitious, and in no way do I mean Jungkook is a weakling here for wanting what he wants. I want to become a writer and I am already proud that I sold my first story and I am making money out of it.

But the thing is, who wouldn't want to just be a couch potato if they are getting everything they want without working for it?

I crave a cute love story like this too, find my Jimin like this too. And I think it might just happen for me. I wish all of you also get what you dream of and succeed in life. Sorry for taking up your time. Enjoy the epilogues.

"Hyung! Your towels!" Jungkook ran after Jimin with his face towels.

"Thanks, baby," Jimin pecked Jungkook's cheek and grabbed the towel, trying to shove it in his bag while filing outside of the apartment. The two moved into their first apartment just two nights ago. The college exams ended for them and the holidays had started, but Jimin was also studying dance, and his dance final was today.

"Where are you running? I am the one who is driving you!" Jungkook stopped, resting his hands on his waist and glaring at the older's back.

Jimin turned, confused for a moment, and then sighed. He was so used to taking care of Jungkook that whenever the younger boy did something for him, it would feel foreign. He was the one to always drive Jungkook around, but today, the 19-year-old wanted to share some burden with his 21-year-old boyfriend. "If you want to keep sulking there, I am taking a cab."

Jungkook ran past Jimin now, towards the car that the older bought for him, technically Mr. Jeon paid for it, but Jimin promised his boyfriend's father that he would return the money, as he wanted to be the one to be able to afford it and give it to him. It was on Jungkook's name, but the younger hardly ever drove it.

When Jimin leveled up to Jungkook, he saw the latter standing with the car with an open door. It made the older grin. "Thanks, my chivalrous savior. Now haul ass. I am late."

"Your final is in the evening, Hyung," Jungkook reminded by rolling his eyes as though if he didn't remind him, what would Jimin even do.

"But I still need to practice and test out the costumes on stage, Jungkook," Jimin began to take out the make-up from his bag, checking if he was carrying everything or if they needed to do last moment panic shopping.

"You dance like a noodle. Stop worrying so much."

The remark made Jimin shoot a petulant scowl at Jungkook and his frame turned to see the boy driving indifferently. "Excuse me? A noodle?"

"Yeah, flexible, smooth, adaptable, and I always want to eat you after."

Jimin shook his head and went back to his bag, counting and comparing things when he felt the car stop. "What? What now?" Jungkook didn't answer and jumped out of the car. The older saw him running in a coffee shop. "Seriously! You need your boba right now?!"

"Aish!" Jimin tapped his foot on the rubber mat when Jungkook disappeared. "Shouldn't have taught him to drink tea."

He honked, earning a few threatening glares from the surroundings, but he needed to call his silly boyfriend back.

Jungkook dashed out of the coffee shop with filled hands after seven minutes. Running towards Jimin's side of the window, he waited for him to roll it down and accept the decks of sandwiches and a cup of coffee. "Eat!" Jungkook commanded and rushed to get in the driver's seat before the older decided to leave him behind by driving away himself.

"I can't eat, Kook. You know I will throw up if I do before dancing."

Jungkook pitifully glanced at Jimin and his anxious face. "Just a few bites, Hyung. I don't want you to pass out either."

Jimin started unwrapping the sandwich quickly and it brought relief to Jungkook. It was as though they depended on each other, their words held magic to make the other person feel significantly better.

Jungook knew that Jimin was going through much more than he was. He never wanted to become a scientist or a great painter, even though he had talents. He wanted to live his life pretty simply. The realization has been dawning on him lately that Jimin was working harder than he should. He was losing sleep on many nights, not coming back to dormitories in fear that he would disturb his sleep if he practiced at late night.

Jimin never shared how difficult it was, but Jungkook understood silently. He now regretted his decision of taking sports as his major. Perhaps he could have taken science and become something that would actually make a difference, something that could bring money. It wasn't like he was planning to evolve as an athlete either. He thought he wasted all his potential because he was an ace and if he kept working harder, and dared to have a dream, he could have contributed equally.

Seeing his boyfriend tiring himself hurt him in a way he couldn't bear, and also couldn't do anything about it. So he decided to ask for help. He called Mr. Park and asked if they could move into an apartment with a bigger space. At first, Mr. Park refused, not liking the idea of the two living together, but then he knew that the two were adults and he couldn't possibly control what they did and didn't do in his absence.

He called Jungkook the next day and promised him that he would arrange something before their holidays started.

"Jungkook-ah!" Jimin grabbed Jungkook in his arms and spun on his feet with the happiest grin on his face.

Jungkook had been worried sick and refused to leave. He waited the whole day outside the dance school. Since Jimin was mostly taking online classes, he feared that the regular students would be at an obvious advantage. But he felt the worry leaving him and relief seeping deep as he was embraced by Jimin in his ecstatic state.

"You are heavier than the last month," Jimin panted and put him down.

The teen cupped the older's cheek. "How did it go?"

"It went fabulous, and now all I need is at least an A-minus on technicality, choreography, and expressions. I will be advanced into the next class." Jimin answered, holding Jungkook's hands on his cheeks.

"I am so proud of you, Hyung," Jungkook squished Jimin's cheeks. There wasn't much left there, as it used to be, but it served the purpose when the man's lips popped out and the teen pecked them.

Jimin's cheeks were long gone and his cheekbones were prominent, but Jungkook had an evil plan to make him eat during their holidays. The older didn't realize it, but whenever Jungkook wanted, he would order extra, scowl that he couldn't eat anymore so that Jimin had to finish it. "I will take you out tonight, my treat."

"It's always you who is treating me," Jungkook looked down, lowering his hands all of the sudden. It was a new reaction to Jimin. The teen would jump with glee if he heard about food.

Jimin entwined their palms and began to walk out of the school before more judgmental stares screened them. "It's because you are mine, and I will always treat you with the best."

"You are mine too. I can't do much for you."

Jimin didn't answer until they were in the car. He got behind the wheel now, letting Jungkook take his usual position on the seat beside him. The teen pulled the seatbelt and was about to hook it when Jimin held his hand, letting the belt jump back. "You do more than you can think you do for me, Jungkook. Why are you suddenly talking like this?" Jimin's tone was calm and soft and his eyes loaded with care and a little bit of curiosity.

Jungkook felt something wet on his cheeks and Jimin's thumbs swiping over. He didn't know he could cry right now. "You are doing so much. You even got a part-time job. But you don't let me do anything. It's you who wakes up early and makes us breakfast. You are the one who buys us lunch and then you work at night," Jungkook kept wringing his hands over his knees as he spoke and then his complaining eyes glanced up at Jimin. Before he knew it, his face scrunched and tears started flowing heavily. "I can't see you like this, Hyung. You deserve a better life."

Jimin smiled softly with moist eyes as Jungkook hugged him and muffled in his neck, wetting the shirt with both his drool and tears. He embraced the teen gently and rocked him slowly. "Baby... When did you grow up to be so big, hm?" He pressed feather-light kisses on the side of Jungkook's cheek.

"Don't baby me, Hyung. You are just two years older than me yet you act like you are my parent." Jungkook warned threateningly.

"Shh, stop crying first," Jimin pulled away and wiped Jungkook's wet face with his soft palms. "I really understand why you might feel bad for me, but you have no reason to. You didn't ask me to do anything. I chose this. I am doing this because it's my passion. My job is like paid training to me, Jungkook. I work for one of the best entertainment agencies in the world. I am learning so much and I am also building my network. You will see, I will have so much so quickly and we can live a lavish life."

"But we are living a lavish life," Jungkook argued again.

"I don't want our fathers providing for us all our life, baby. I want to be the one to do this. Your dream was to get adopted and my dream was to become a dancer. Now I am learning other skills with my dancing and I think this is the best thing that could have happened for my upcoming professional life."

"I was just sixteen when I said that," Jungkook looked away embarrassedly.

"But it still hadn't changed, had it?" Jimin smiled playfully.

"Shut up, Hyung."

Jimin chuckled, taking Jungkook's palm and kissing it. "It's okay to not have dreams. Someone great said that to me in middle school."

Jungkook grinned shyly, still not showing his face to Jimin, but the latter was able to see the red in the reflection of the window. "Should we unpack tonight and set up our new house?"

"Yes," Jungkook nodded.

"Then we will pack our bags and leave for home on Sunday."

"Okay," Jungkook's lips tilted more.

"See," Jimin pulled the seatbelt and fixed it for Jungkook before pecking his forehead. "You do plenty. Who is responsible for laundry?" The man burned the ignition.

"I am," Jungkook chuckled, feeling a spasm of happiness bursting in his muscles. Jimin sure knew how to cheer him up. "Can we stop for ice cream?"

"Gladly, my buttercup."
