Warning:

The language in this story will be a mix of Japanese, Korean, and English. The narrative will be mostly English (don't worry), but some dialogues might be switched from Japanese to Korean since the characters are multilingual. I'll put in translations so you don't have to google them.

Notes:

When I wrote Seoulmate, I wasn't really expecting to write the sequel. In fact, I don't write legit sequels that star the same main characters from the first book.

This is an exception.

Seoulmate is a very chill short story about a girl that traveled to Seoul on her own, not expecting to meet someone and actually connect with him on a deeper level. The fact that Yuki is from a Yakuza family is a very small part of the story, and the fact that Jin Yeong has that same background is just a small little twist in the end of Seoulmate. I also thought it was a nice way to end it. I honestly didn't expect to write more about them.

After going to Japan, I realized it was time to write the continuation of their story. It was hard since this time it involved their fictional mob families, and I felt it to be too corny and cringey at times but I learned not to take it too seriously.

After all, I wrote Seoulmate for fun. I included all the Kdrama tropes I could and just went along with it, not thinking too much about it. I should do the same for Sorumeito, right? So I did. This time, I meshed in as much shoujo manga/anime tropes as the story allowed me.

And so far, I'm having fun. I'm really hoping you will, too. I mean, that's the goal, right? To have fun together as we go along with Yuki and Jin Yeong's journey?

Overall, what I'm trying to say is...

I hope you enjoy this as much as you enjoyed the first book.

Oh, and PS. I'll be updating this following glossary every time I upload a chapter with all the terms (Japanese and Korean) that will be used so it won't be confusing. :)
