Chapter 5: First Encounter

There he is, Shaun Darshall. He's my main goal. I bet the three guys beside him were Niall Traff, Garett Vinn, and Zachary Hagane. They're part of my mission too.

I looked at them. Evaluating their actions. I'm sure these four people are no doubt an S class. Even by the smallest amount of movement, you can tell that they're really skilled.

Their actions speaks professionalism. I saw Garett Vinn looking around. The way he was looking around is so smooth. If you would not focus closely, you wouldn't noticed that he was moving his head. He already know that someone was staring at them with a different kind of stare.

I stopped looking at them before Garett can catch me. I quickly finished my cake before standing up to go out at the cafeteria. Seeing them is already fine for today.

While walking, I looked at my wrist watch. It's already 8:50am. Just enough time. I quickly went to my classroom.

As I entered my classroom for the first time, some of the students are already there. I sit at the vacant seat at the back.

May iba't ibang ginagawa ang mga tao. Some of them are chitchatting, some are with their headphones on, and some are just reading books.

Tumingin naman ako sa aking backpack at inilabas ang isang notebook at ballpen. I placed it on the table and start doodling. I'll just going to draw since we still have 10 minutes left for the class to start.

Drawing is part of my hobby too. I don't even know why I'm fond of it. My parents doesn't know how to draw. Kuya Kilton doesn't know too. Especially, Kuya Kidd. He's very very bad at drawing! Trust me, he draw like shit.

I normally don't criticize the way people draw or even if they're bad at it. But Kuya Kidd is an exemption. If I said his drawing is bad, it is bad! Trust me, a toddler can even draw better than him.

I don't know from who did I inherit the talent to draw. I haven't meet both of my grandparents since I was a kid but my parents said that they are alive and are living in China.

How can I meet them when both of them doesn't want to meet us. Jeez!

The 10 minutes feels like seconds. I raised my head as the professor entered. She looks like she's in her early 40's.

She greeted us so we stood up to greet her too. After that she started her lesson.

When the professor was on her midway of teaching. The door suddenly opened. There are four guys who entered. It was the group of Shaun.

The professor was about to speak when the four of them just walked to their seats. They didn't even apologized for being 30 minutes late. The professor just continued teaching.

Muli kong inilipat ang tingin sa harap at muling nakinig hanggang sa matapos ang klase.

It's lunch time. Hinintay ko munang lumabas ang lahat. Halos limang minuto ang hinintay ko para lumabas lahat ng mga kaklase ko. Pero si Shaun at ang mga kaibigan niya ay di man lang gumalaw sa kanilang inuupuan.

Nang kami nalang lima ang naiwan ay saka tumayo sila Shaun at Niell. Tumayo si Niell pero muli itong umupo. Hindi sa upuang kundi sa lamesa ni Zachary. Si Shaun naman ay nakipag usap kay Garett. I saw Garett nodded after taking a quick glance at me.

Kinuha ko na ang aking bag para sana lumabas na pero naglakad si Shaun patungo sa aking direksyon.

I'm about to ignore him when he spoke. "Hey, you"

Napahinto naman ako sa paglalakad at humarap sa kaniya. He's tall. Kailangan ko pang tumingala para makita siya. Hanggang balikat niya lamang ako.

"Yes? Do you need anything?" tanong ko naman.

I saw him looking at me from head to toe. "You're a transferee right?" tanong niya. I nodded.

"I know it was you staring at us earlier at the cafeteria. Garett caught you" aniya. I gulped.

Shit, Garett saw me? I know they're fast but damn I didn't know they were this fast. I underestimated them.

"Really? Oh I was just fascinated to you all, that's why" I reasoned out.

Shaun nodded still looking at me. "Do you know who we are?" tanong niya.

Of course, I know who you all are.

"Uhm no but I know you are popular" sabi ko naman.

He's still looking at me intently. Damn, I don't like people staring at me especially when they're this close.

After hearing my answer he walked back to his friends. I saw him talking again to Garett. The other two were laughing to each other like they have their own world.

I just shrugged and continued going out to the classroom.

It's my first time talking to Shaun. His aura is really intimidating and mysterious. It screams danger. If I was just a normal girl, I would probably be scared.

Di na ako pumunta nang cafeteria at dumiretso nalang sa dorm. Nang makapasok na ako ay inilapag ko ang aking backpack sa couch at naglakad papuntang higaan ko at kaagad na isinilampak ang sarili sa kama.

Man, i'm bored.

Ilang minuto akong nakahiga nang biglang may tumawag. Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko sa bulsa nang aking palda at tinignan kung sino ang tumatawag.

Yugen calling...

It's Yugen. I quickly accepted the call. Umayos ako ng upo.

"Hey, Yugen. What's up?" tanong ko.

"Guess what, Kei?" excited niyang tanong sa kabilang linya.

"I don't know? Just say it Yugen. I know you know that I hate guessing" sagot ko.

"Hmp! Mainipin ka talaga kahit kailan. I just wanna say that I'll be there in the Philippines tomorrow!" masaya niyang sabi.

I smiled. I'm finally meeting her after not seing her in personal for 3 months.

"That's nice, Yugen. I wanna see you already. Pero di kita masusundo. Di kasi kami pwede lumabas ng school kapag di valid ang reason. I'll just wait for you here" imporma ko.

I read the small pocket book the Dean gave me. There's a lot of rules but they're just the typical ones.

"It's fine! Kita nalang tayo bukas. I'll hang up na, ha? I need to prepare my luggage already. Bye, Kei!" paalam niya.

"Ok bye, Yugen. Take care" sabi ko bago pinatay ang tawag.

I went back laying on the bed. Maybe a quick nap would be better.

Nagising ako dahil sa sinag nang araw na nangaggaling sa bintana. I chose the bed beside the window because I love watching the sky at night.

Tinignan ko ang aking relo at tamang tama ay 12:30 pa lang nang tanghali. Tumayo na ako at inayos ang aking uniporme. Kinuha ko na din ang aking backpack at lumabas na nang dorm.

Since there's still time left. I decided to explore the whole school.

I started at front of the school. There's a big fountain at the center. Meron ding malaking parking lot sa magkabilang gilid ng school. There's a mini mall and a mini hospital. A gymnasium and amphitheater. There's a basketball court, a pool, and a football field too.

I went to the back part of the school. There's the garden and a two storey house. I was confused for what's the purpose of the house but I just shrugged and went back to my class.

The lecture went well. The professor was quite good because the way she teaches was clear. Unlike the other teachers from my previous school.

My whole afternoon was okay. I din't saw Shaun's group the whole afternoon. The chemistry professor already left kaya unti unti na ding nagsialisan ang mga estudyante. As usual, I waited for the whole class to left before I go.

I looked at the time. It's already 5:00pm. I went to the cafeteria to grab a snack and drinks before going back to my dorm.

As I entered, I went to my study table and opened my laptop. Kinuha ko na din yung binili kong snacks and drinks kanina.

I went to google and started searching for the Darshall Family. Time to do my mission.
