Chapter 35: Captured

Third Person's POV

Lahat ng Student Council Members ay nasa meeting room maliban na lamang kay Niell.

Hinawi ni Zachary ang malaking kurtina at mainam na sumilip mula sa labas.

Kita mula doon ang mga estudyanteng naliligo sa kanilang sariling dugo. Muling sinara ni Zachary ang kurtina at naglakad papuntang lamesa.

"Did you already inform the Cleaners, Liam?" tanong ni Zachary.

Tumango naman si Liam. "Yeah, I already did last night" sagot niya.

The Cleaners are the persons who are going take care after the Red Holiday. By the end of the day, the whole school will be filled with blood and corpses. Cleaners are the one who will clean all the mess.

All of them are silently doing their works. They are not bothered about the Red Holiday because no one can go against them especially the President.

They are there for about half an hour when Niell suddenly walked in. Hingal na hingal ito na tila galing lamang sa mabilis na pagtakbo.

"Fuck! Shaun!" di mapakaling tawag ni Niell.

Nabaling ni Shaun ang kaniyang paningin kay Niell. He stood up and gave his friend a confused look.

"Why are you filled with sweats? What's wrong?" kalmado niyang tanong.

Iniiwasan ni Niell ang kaniyang titig.

"Si Kira..." panimula niya.

Tumaas ang kilay ni Shaun ang mas lalong lumapit sa kaniya. Napansin nito na iniiwasan nito ang kaniyang mga titig.

That's when he knew something was wrong.

"What about her? Didn't I told you to look after her?" tanong niya.

"I did! Its just that a group of men are on my way that time. I just lost my sight for her for just a minute to take care of those bastards but then when I  checked her again she's already gone." paliwanag niya.

Shaun became serious and gritted his teeth.

"Fuck, i'm sorry Shaun. Its my fault..." ani Neill.

"Sinong last nakita mo na kasama niya?" napabaling ang tingin ni Niell kay Zachary na siyang nagtanong.

"The last time I saw her she was with a girl" sagot niya.

"Who? That Thallia girl?" tanong naman ni Garett.

Niell immediately shooked his head.

"No, it's the first time I saw that girl" aniya.

"Shit!" isang mura ang lumabas sa bibig ni Shaun at mabilis na lumabas ng council room.

"I have a bad feeling about this" aniya Zachary sabay labas nilang tatlo at sumunod kay Shaun.

As they all went outside people have already caught their attention. Its unusual for the student council to show themselves in the middle of the Red Holiday. As of that some people stopped what they are doing.

Shaun looked at them with furious eyes. Trying to spot Kira. He didnt even noticed how all of the students were looking at him with confused faces.

Zachary tapped his shoulders. "We can't find her properly if you're giving all the students those cold eyes" aniya.

Shaun didn't even heard what he said. His eyes desperately trying to find Kira.

"All of you go back to your rooms! If you won't follow me I'll kill you all myself. The Red Holiday ends now!" utos niya sa lahat ng estudyante.

He recieved a lot of groans from the students yet no one dares to muttered a thing. They just quietly listened to him and went back to their rooms as if nothing happened.

The Cleaners then do their jobs as what they are supoosed to do.

They again continued searching for her for minutes but not a single presence of Kira can be found.

Shaun's mind is now filled of thoughts. Already blaming himself if he ever found out that Kira is in danger.

He should've not let Red Holiday takes place this year if he knew this would happened but he know that Principal Victoria won't allow that.

Another minutes had passed and they're already at the cafeteria. Still no presence of Kira.

"Fuck! Just where is she!" his voice is now trembling.

The three of his friends is just silently following him. Also trying to find Kira but yet minutes had passed and they still havent found her.

Ilang taon na din ang nakakalipas ng makita nilang ganyan ka desperado ang kanilang kaibigan. Tila ba magwawala ito pag hindi nila mahanap si Kira ng ilang oras.

"Calm yourself, dude. I know she's fine" ani Garrett na nasa likuran niya.

He brushed his hair and took a deep breath.

"Of course she's fine. If I ever see a single wound on her body I'll make sure to kill those bastards who did that to her" seryoso ngunit may diin niyang saad.

The three stood silently. Once the demon is angry, not even Satan can tame him.

Akmang aalis na sana sila parang maghanap ulit nang may narinig silang kaluskos sa may likurang bahagi ng cafeteria.

Lahat sila ay napatingin doon at tamang tamang pagkakalabas ng isang babae galing sa isang malalaking mga halaman.

Gulat na tumingin ang babae sa kanila na tila nakakita ng multo. Agad itong nagpanic at balak sanang tumakas ng mabilis na hinawakan ni Niell ang mga braso nito.

"Shit, it's you!" aniya nito.

Mas lalong nagpanic ang babae at pinipilit na tanggalin ang pagkakahawak ni Niell sa braso nito ngunit kahit anong pwersa ang gawin niya ay di parin siya binibitiwan. Neill stood there with serious face.

"Who is she, Niell?" tanong ni Zachary.

"The girl I saw together with Kira. Siya yung huli niya kasama bago siya nawala" sagot nito.

Shaun gritted his teeth and silently went to the girl. Mahigpit nitong hinawakan ang kabilang braso nito.

"A-Aray. President, masakit" reklamo nito.

Shaun looked at her seriously. "Where is Kira?" tanong nito.

"I-I don't know. W-Why are you asking me" aniya.

The girl couldn't look at him and is trembling. That's when he knew that the girl is lying. Once a person couldn't look in your eyes while you're asking questions. That'll be the time you know that they're lying.

"I'm going to ask you one more time. If you're gonna lie again, I'm gonna kill you. You understand?" diin nitong saad.

Nakaduko lamang ang babae habang pinipilit na tanggalin ang pagkakahawak sa kaniya. Nginig na nginig ito sa takot pero parang wala lang ito para kay Shaun. He needs to find Kira and make sure that's she's safe.

"Where.Is.She? You better give me a honest answer or you'll die" ulit nitong tanong.

Shaun doesn't even think about anything other than finding where is Kira. He will find her by the day ends. No matter what. Even if he needs to take risks.

The three were also waiting for the girl's answer. Ilang segundo itong hindi nagsalita habang nanginginig padin sa takot.

Mas hinigpitan nito ang pagkakahawak sa braso ng babae. Doon ay napasigaw na ito sa sakit.

"W-Why do even care so much for that girl! She's not worth your care-"

Shaun roughly pulled the girl closer to him and whispered on her ear.

"Just answer my damn question" nagtitimpi niyang tanong.

Zachary knows how much Shaun's trying to compressed himself. His fist is now clenched and only composing himself not to hit the girl.

Ilang segundong hindi nagsalita ang babae. Maya maya ay napupo ito sa lupa habang humahagulhol sa iyak.

"I-Isaac will kill m-me...H-He will k-kill me if I told y-you" utal utal nitong saad habang umiiyak.

Napakunoot noo ang tatlo. It's a name that's not familiar yet familiar at the same time. Zachary took a quick glance at Shaun. His face shows no emotion.

"Isaac?" pagrerecall ni Garrett sa pangalan.

"Wait, isn't he-"

Naputol ang sasabihin ni Niall ng bigla na lamang naglabas ng combat knife si Shaun at mabilis na itinutok ito sa babae.

The girl looked at him with fears in her eyes. She was frozen right at the spot. One wrong move and she'll bleed.

"Isaac took Kira? Answer me" tanong nito.

"Y-yes" agad nitong sagot.

"Where did they took Kira?" seryoso nitong tanong.

"If you won't tell me now, I'll kill you myself right here right now" may pagbabanta nitong saad at mag diniin pa ang magkakatutok ng kutsilyo.

"I'm giving you five seconds to answer. Choose and give me a wise answer" dagdag pa nito.

"5.......4....."

The girl took a deep breath. Battling with her mind if she will tell him or not.

"3......."

Seryoso lamang na naghihintay ang tatlo sa isasagot ng babae. They can't do anything but to wait.

"......2...."

Shaun is just looking at her with cold eyes. The girl just kept trembling. She's scared. She's scared cuz either way she's still going to get killed.

"1....."

Shaun was about to slit her neck when the girl suddenly spoke.

"I-I'll tell you! I'll tell you! Just please don't kill me..." pagmamakaawa nito.

Shaun stopped. "Go on. Tell me"

The girl took a deep breath. "Addison High. They're planning to take her to Addison High" pagsasabi nito ng totoo.

"For what? What are they planning to do with her?" tanong ni Zachary.

"To use against the President. They brought her there.....to kill her" sagot niya.

After hearing that, Shaun stood up and immediately leave them. He couldn't forgive himself if something happens to Kira.

Why now that's he's starting to accept these unexplained feelings for her.

He's going to make sure that Isaac will pay. He's going to do everything. Yes, everything.

Even killing him. His old friend.
