Crash!!

Jane looked up startled. "Jack, what's wrong?"

Jane and Jack were drinking tea when suddenly; Jack had a strange feeling in his stomach; his grip on his cup loosened and the cup shattered down on the floor.

"Jack? Jack!"

Jack snapped out of his dazed and looked up at his mother.

"What's happening to you?" asked Jane, completely concerned for her son.

Jack shook his head. "I just had a strange feeling."

Jane furrowed her eyebrows. Before she could ask any more questions, the door opened. Both of their heads turned to whoever that had entered. Jack's eyes widen at who he saw. He can feel his stomach hurting even more. Just what is going on? He was sure that he wasn't hungry. He had a bad feeling at what he's going to say.

Arendalle

Edger walked in the room and saw Mason sleeping on the sofa, Anine and Anna playing with their dolls and Zach sitting on the chair near the window, reading.

"Where's Elsa?" he asked, seeing that Elsa wasn't with them.

"She's out at the balcony," said Zach, looking up from his book. "It looks like she isn't feeling well."

Edger raised an eyebrow. He walked out to the balcony. Elsa was looking down at the town.

"Elsa." Elsa didn't move, she just stood there, still staring down. Edger sighed; he walked towards her and patted her back. "You feel okay?"

Elsa nodded. But she couldn't help but feel like something's wrong.

"You miss your mom already?" asked Edger.

Elsa looked up at him. "Yeah," she nodded. She then asked the one question that's been bothering her ever since mom left. "What were you and mom arguing about before she left?"

Edger looked startled; he wasn't really expecting her to ask that kind of question. He scratched his head. "Um...well..." He was looking for words to say to her, but then he saw horses entering the castle gates. He noticed it was General Gale coming with his men. Elsa looked down at what her father was looking. "Elsa, I have to go." Edger left the balcony and out of the room.

Zach came to the balcony and stood next to Elsa. "That's General Gale," he muttered.

"Who?" asked Elsa, glancing at him.

"General Gale, I saw him couple of times in Transelvil." They both watched him got off his horse; he walked briefly inside the palace.
Elsa arched an eyebrow. She left Zach and went out of the balcony.

"Where you going?" asked Zach but Elsa was already gone.

"Yes?" Jane got up from her seat and looked at Pitch.

Pitch looked like he was out of breath. "Your highness, I--I'm afraid I have bad news."

Jane raised an eyebrow. Jack looked a little startled, he wondered what the bad news was; little did he know he wouldn't like it.

"What is it?" asked Jane.

Pitch let out a sigh and looked sadly at the Queen and Prince.
"It's... its King Ronan."

Jane had a worried look, "Why? What happened?"

"He's gone." said Pitch. Jane gasped while Jack's eyes widen. "We found the ship at the sea, but it was broken, there was no sign of life. I'm sorry."

Jack quickly got up from his seat. "No way!" he exclaimed while glaring at Pitch. "You're lying!"

"I wish I was, Prince Jack," said Pitch. "But it's the truth, your father is gone."

Jack shook his head as tears came down his face. Jane pulled Jack in a tight embrace as she too cried.

Arendalle

"So what brings you here?" asked Edger, sitting down on the sofa while Gale sat on the other.

Gale sighed and ruffled his hair; he wasn't really sure how he should tell the king.

"General, is something the matter?" asked Edger, seeing how uneasy Gale was.

"You see, um... I was traveling by sea to come here," started Gale. "And on the way, I saw a shattered ship. The ship looked like one of yours."

Edger arched an eyebrow. "None of the Arendalle's ships as set sail yet, except," his eyes widen in realization. "No it can't be!"

"What's wrong?" asked Gale.

"Queen Idan is on that ship, you have to go check!" Edger stood up and started pacing.

Gale stood up and looked at Edger. "We did." Edger stopped and looked at him.

"And?" asked Edger.

"And we didn't find her body," said Gale looking sadly at Edger. "There weren't even any bodies; there were just blood and parts of the broken ship."

Edger shook his head, he resist to believe it. "No! I will see for myself if Idan is dead or not."

"What?"

Edger eyes widen as he looked to the side of the doorway. Elsa was standing there looking shocked. Elsa walked to her dad. "Dad, tell me the truth, what happened to mom?"

Edger looked up and saw the kids walking in. He looked down at Elsa. "Elsa, I don't really know."

Elsa turned to General Gale. "Tell me."

Gale sighed and looked at the girl in sympathy. "I'm afraid is true. There weren't any saviours." Elsa couldn't take it anymore as she broke down on the floor. Edger kneeled down and comforted her. Anna cried as Zach comfort her. Anine, who was too young to understand the situation but she couldn't help but feel sad seeing her sisters cried. She felt Masons grip on her tightened, she looked up at him and saw that he had some tears in his eyes.

Gale watched as the royal family mourn for their Queen.

<<<<<Next Day>>>>>

Word had spread that the Queen Idan and King Ronan were dead, many people were heartbroken.

Edger was in the carriage with his daughters. He glanced at the girls. Elsa's face became paler and all her tears had run out. Anna's eyes were red from crying. Anine, well Edger couldn't keep it from her so he explained to her, sure the girl cried, she was too young to loose the person who had loved and cared for her.

Everyone stood on the hill, down the hill was the sea. They all watched and listened as the priest talked. Some people were crying, some were not, they all looked sad because of their Queen.

"She was a good Queen to our people and all of us," said Philip. "We don't know why or how this happened to her, but we hope she rest in peace."

Elsa didn't pay attention. She was lost in thought. What really happened to her mom? Was it an accident or not? There weren't even any evidence. She had a strong feeling that someone was behind this, but why? Did Arendalle have a rival that she didn't know about?

Overland

Jack sat on the bench, staring at nothing. Kristoff was sitting next to him.

The funeral was over. Some people had gone home, some had stayed behind.

Jane was talking to some advisors. Now that her husband is gone, she would have to rule the kingdom by herself. Jane had dismissed them when she saw Hager coming towards her.

''Your highness," said Hager. "I need to tell you something."

"What is it?"

"I have reasons to believe that what happened to King Ronan was not an accident."

Jane furrowed her eyebrows, "What do you mean?"

"Well, there were no body at the sea," said Hager. "Besides, when someone dies at sea, shouldn't there dead bodies be floating?"

"Maybe the sharks ate them."

"Then there would be blood; but nothing, only pieces of broken ships."

"Then who would have done it?" asked Jane.

Hager shook his head. "I don't know. But we have to be careful in the future; if this isn't an accident then there is someone plotting against the royal family or the kingdom."

Jane nodded. If this isn't an accident, that person who had killed her husband would pay.
She looked ahead to where Jack was and started walking towards him. She did not even know that someone had listened to the conversation she had with Hager.

"Jack, darling," said Jane. Jack did not look up.

"I'll leave you two alone," said Kristoff, getting up. He bowed at Jane and walked away to Elijah.

Jane sat next to Jack. She let out a sigh; she took hold of his hand and looked at him. "Jack, we're going to get through this."

"Why did father have to leave us?" asked Jack, not even glancing at her.

"I don't know, son. But we have to be strong, okay?"
Jack nodded and he let out a little sob. Jane embraced Jack. "It looks like it just you and me now, well not to mention your new sister."

Arendalle

"Elsa."

Elsa looked up and saw her dad. Edger sat down next to her. "You alright?" he asked.

Elsa nodded. "Dad, do we have an enemy?"

Edger raised an eyebrow. "What makes you think that we do?"

Elsa shrugged. "I don't know. Could someone be responsible for the death of mom?"

"I don't know, Elsa." Elsa was right, there is no way that the bodies of Idan and some of the sailors would disappear, unless someone took them. "But if what you're saying is true; we have to find that persons who is responsible. And we also have to be prepared and be careful because we don't know what that enemy would do."

Elsa nodded.

"And also," Edger looked at Elsa. "We can not let anyone else know that you're the chosen one. I will talk to the villagers who had witness what happened that day so they wouldn't tell anyone. And Elsa please, you can not use your ice powers, okay?"

"Okay," said Elsa, sadly. "But what if I loose control?"

"That wouldn't happen because you will not use it from now on."

"But-''

"No buts."

"Okay dad." Edger smiled and kissed Elsa's forehead.
