Hello everyone it's time for a new chapter. Last chapter you and Elise met Asuna, and also defeated the first floor boss.

P.S.: Most of the information when it comes to floor clearness dates and information about them may be incorrect but that's because I don't feel like going through the light novels to find out

Part 1.

It's now April 8th 2023, 6 months of being trapped in Sao and 5 months since the first floor boss was defeated. Me and Elise were walking through a town named Taft, that was located on the 11th floor. Me and Elise were just spending some time in the down during the night to rest a bit from being on the frontline. We just cleared the 28th floor which was full of wolves. The boss of the floor was named Fenrir. Me, Elise, and a few parties were able to defeat the boss together. Elise had her mace on her back, a new one that I got her just a bit ago while I have a new sword on my back. Elise held my hand as we walked through town, she said it made her feel just a bit more safe than just walking next to me.

"You want to go get some food?" I ask her.

"Yeah, how about that tavern over there" Elise says with glee while pointing at the tavern.

I smile to myself "Sure, let's go there"

We walked to the tavern and walked inside. There were many people inside who were enjoying their meals and having drinks while chatting with one another. As me and Elise looked around trying to find a free table and I could hear people talking about us, more specifically, talking about me.

"Dude it's him, the guy I told you about" A guy says to his friend.

"Are you sure?" His friend responded.

"Yeah, He always has a girl with large blond drills with him at all times, No doubt about it he's got to be The Weapon Master" The guy told his friend.

"Why do people call him The Weapon Master?" I hear a girl ask her friend.

"They say that he's mastered every weapon in the game" Her friend says.

"(Y/n), your so popular" Elise tells me and hugs my arm "Just like a Saint"

"You know I don't care about popularity" I tell her.

"I know" She says with a smile "But sometimes it can't be helped"

Then as I continued to try to find a spot to sit I see a familiar face sitting down.

"Well if isn't the Kirito" I said as I went up to him.

"(Y/n), Elise, What are you guys doing here?" Kirito asks.

"Just relaxing a bit from the frontline, as much as over exert myself I need a break once in a while" I state.

"Kirito, your friends with The Weapon Master?!" A guy in red sitting at Kirito's table says.

Kirito scratched his cheek "Yeah, I've known him since the day we got trapped in here"

"Hi, name's (Y/n)" I say then motioned to Elise "And this is Elise" Elise then waves a bit.

"Is it true?, did you really master every weapon?" The only girl at the table asks.

"Uh huh, He's max leveled every standard weapon skill in the game" Elise says cheerfully.

"How long did it take you to do that?" A guy in yellow at the table asks.

"4 months, I went many nights without sleep" I say then joked "Sometimes I think this game is giving me insomnia" We laughed a bit before settling down "If you guys don't mind, I'm going take Kirito away from the table for a bit"

"Oh go ahead" the guy in red says.

I then looked at Elise "Mind staying here?" I ask.

"I'll be fine" She says before letting go of my hand.

"Okay then" I state.

Me and Kirito walk out of the tavern and we sat down at a bench near by. I got straight to the point.

"So, that's the guild your in?" I question.

"Yeah, it's called the moon lit black cats" Kirito replies.

"And let me guess, you didn't tell them your real level" I say.

Kirito looks down towards the ground "No, I feel like they would resent me for it" He says "They could think I'm a cheater or somwthing"

"Let me just tell you this, you need to tell them your true level" I tell him.

"Why?" He questions.

"Because their lives are at a greater risk if you don't. A situation could happen that you know you could of prevented but didn't" I tell him.

"I've thought about that, but then I could be putting them at risk even more if they want to do things out of their level of difficulty because of me" Kirito says in concern.

I then look at the sky, seeing the fake night sky filled with fake stars with a fake moon "Since the day we first got trapped in here, I haven't told Elise a single lie. We don't hide anything from eachother until a few days ago. A few days ago I had one rapier skill left to fully level up, I used my rapier to kill the boss on floor 28. I maxed out the skill after that kill but I got a new skill as well..."

"A new skill? What kind of skill?" He asks curiously.

"I think it's better if you look at it yourself" I state.

I go to my menu and go to my skills before finding the skill and going to the description. I then swiped the skill's description window over to Kirito. He looks at it then his eyes widen a bit.

"Weapon hot keys?" He questioned "You mean you can switch your weapons without going into the menu?"

I nod "I tested it a bit last night when Elise was sleeping, it will give me a huge advantage against against monsters and players" I tell him.

I look around to see if there was anyone around to see that there was no one outside. I stood up and drew my sword, Then with my left hand I took my thumb and pinky off the handle, My sword then instantly switched to my war hammer.

"How many weapons can you have hot keyed?" He asks.

"4, one for each finger on one hand. My thumb is like the on switch and my other fingers on my hand are the select buttons. Though the only draw back is that I can't hot key weapons when their on my back" I explain to him as I sat back down.

"I see" He says "There's this skill I got a week or so ago, I want you to take a look at it"

Kirito finds the skill description and swipes the window over to me. I take look at it and smirked a bit.

"Duel wielding, I didn't expect you to get the skill" I stated.

"What do you mean by that?" He asks.

"I got that skill during the beta test. The person with the fastest reaction time gets the skill"  I say.

"Then why didn't you get the skill? I don't have the best reaction time to be honest, The only time I feel like I have a good reaction time is in combat but not at any other time, Probably because of kendo" Kirito tells me.

"It could of been because I got it in the beta test, or because your reaction time is just a tiny bit faster than mine" I state.

He chuckles a bit "I hope it's the second reason"

I playfully punch him in the shoulder while chuckling as well "You wish" I then got a bit serious again "Back on topic, tell your guild mates your real level.  Protect them with all the strength you can and help them level up so it can be a two way street instead of a one way street"

"I get what your saying, I'll tell them after we're done here" He says.

"How about after we eat a meal together, you can tell your guild members in private. Sound good?"

"Sounds good" He tells me.

"Also, I would keep that skill a secret until the time is right. If other people find out about that skill some one might want to come after you. I'm doing the same for Elise's protection" I say to him.

"I understand"

"Let's head back to the tavern, I'm starving"

"Same"

We get up and started walking back to the tavern. I open the door and I see Elise sitting at the table telling Kirito's guildmates a story.

"-(Y/n) then used a axe skill as he jumped above Fenrir's head then brought the axe down on to Fenrir's head, preforming a high damage head splitter. He puts his axe back on his bad while he jumps away from Fenrir as the giant wolf tied to bite him. By now Fenrir only had a quarter of his last heath bar left to go on. Fenrir got on a position to pounce onto (Y/n) with almost no way for him to escape. Other parties tried to get the wolves attention but nothing worked. (Y/n) went into his menu and switched to his rapier. He held it in his right hand and drawer it back as far as he could, staring to activate a rapier skill. He had his left arm in front of him to align himself with the wolves weak spot which was his stomach. Fenrir then pounced towards (Y/n) at full force. Everyone in the boss room watched in suspense and in terror, including me, as (Y/n) just stood there with his eyes closed with his skill ready to use. When Fenrir started diving towards him and got close enough to almost bite him, (Y/n) opened his eyes before thrusting his rapier forward while lunging forwards with great power. His rapier hits Fenrir in the lower chest before staring to drag across his entire under side. Everyone could see Fenrir's heath drop rapidly as (Y/n) sliced through his underside. When (Y/n) had finally gotten to the other side of the giant wolf started into polygons, He probably would of gotten a good bonus if over kill existed"

"Telling them about the latest boss fight" I say.

"Uh huh, You were like a overpowered anime protagonist!" She says with excitement in her voice.

"Well there has to be someone who needs to be the tip of the spear. Right Kirito" I say.

"Yeah, nothing beats plot armor and a protagonist who does what ever it takes to get the job done" Kirito says.

"You guys seem to be pretty strong to be out fighting with just the two of you most of the time. What level are you if you don't mind me asking?" The guy in green who sat at the table asked.

"I'm level 55" I state.

"I'm level 34" Elise says.

I then look over at Elise "We need to get your level up, your going to start coming with me to my late night grinds"

"Girls need their sleep you know" Elise says like a child.

"Level 34 isn't going to be enough when we get to floor 30 and above" I say.

"Fine then.....only because your my saint,and because I love you" Elise says and mumbles the last few words of her sentence.

The npc waitress then brings everyone at the table their food and since I wasn't inside the tavern Elise ordered for me. The waitress sets a bowl of salad in front of me along with a drink that's totally not beer. The salad had strawberries, mango, and a few other fruit along with only a few strips of chicken atop the lettuce.

"You got me a salad?" I questioned.

"You need to eat more vegetables mister, all you've been eating while for the past 3 months when we're on the frontline is meat" Elise tells me while pointing her fork at me. Everyone at the table begins to laugh including Kirito.

"Men are carnivores that need the taste of meat to keep us sane" I say "That's why you see some vegans making their cats and dogs vegan"

(Not lying, people are turning their cats and dogs into vegans)

"He's not exactly wrong" Kirito says while chuckling.

"You should eat your vegetables too Kirito" The girl in blue says as she looked at Kirito's plate which had a stack of ribs on it with some mashed potatoes on the side.

"Not you too Sachi" Kirito exclaims.

"I think this is the first time in awhile since being in SAO that I could have a fun time like this" I thought "I wonder how Asuna is, hope she's not dead. With her skill I'm sure she isn't"
