Chrystal's P.O.V

    I wake up. My arm's.... not bleeding. My arm.... feels fine.

    I hear someone moan and see Nathan's body roll around in Beth's arms. "Son of a bitch" he says.

    Wait... Nathan's body? I look at my hands. My feet. My legs. My boobs. We.... we switched back?

    "Beth?"

    "Nathan, not now, we need to get Chrystal to the hospital, she got shot in the arm!" Beth says.

    "BETH WE SWITCHED BACK!"

    Nathan's head snaps up as he looks at his arm. Realization flickers in his eyes and he jumps up, holding his arm.

    "We switched back!" Nathan says running over to me and giving me a hug, a soft one due to his arm.

    "Guys, I'd hate to ruin your reunion with your bodies, but we kinda do need to get Nathan to the hospital." Beth says.

    Oh yeah.

    We all gather in Beth's truck. Beth calls the police and then drives away, leaving Matilda's body behind. What will happen?

    I try to forget about it as we drive to the hospital. Beth takes the long way so we don't run into any cops.

    We make it to the hospital and Nathan is taken away from us. From me. Beth stays of course. She is all I have left now, what with my mom flipping her shit on me.

    I stay in the hospital. They say I can go home, but I don't want to. I can't leave Nathan. I'm so worried I can barely sleep. Maybe 15 minutes before I wake back up.

    They give me updates frequently. He went into surgery. The surgery went fine. He's now responsive. He's ready to see people.

    His mother and siblings go in first. I suppose I can wait. After about a minute though his mother comes out and looks at me.

    "He says he wants to see you too." she says smiling, tears in her eyes.

    I walk in to see Nathan in a hospital gown. His eyes groggy and his left arm bandaged up. I run over to his bed and hug him.

    "I was so worried about you Nathan, you have no idea." I say.

    He hugs back with only his right arm. "It's okay Chrystal it was just my arm. It wasn't like I was going to die or anything."

    "Yeah, but they had to do surgery!"

    "To get the bullet out."

    "I was just scared"

    "I know. I was too." He whispered to me, "but at least we're back where we belong.

    I smile, knowing what he meant by that. His mother and siblings begin to express their emotions towards him as well, while I just sit in a chair and wait. Nathan is just smiling.

    I think- I think I love Nathan.

    We're finally switched back. Everything is as it should be. Nathan will be fine in a couple of weeks. He killed Matilda though. However if she wasn't killed she would have killed one of us. I bet it'll all blow over eventually.

    I'll never forget this. The chance to be in a boy's body. The chance to see into a popular person's life. To know what it's like to truly be happy. Because I'm happy Nathan's okay. I can't remember the last time I was really happy.

Nathan's P.O.V

    I listen to my mother. How she was so worried. How I'll probably be grounded for a little while, although she thinks being shot was probably punishment enough. How I even got shot. I paid attention and looked at her. However every once in awhile I would sneak a glance at Chrystal. She fell asleep soon after she sat in the chair. She must have been really worried about me.

    I can't believe I didn't notice how cute she was before. Her shortness. Her hair. Everything about her is fun-size and cute. I love her. I can't believe it.

    Everything is going to change now. I'm going to get better friends. I'm not going to get wasted every weekend. I'm going to surround myself with good people, like Chrystal. I'm going to be better at school. Chrystal can probably help with that to.

    Oh Chrystal, I'll never forget the time we switched.
