(Marinette's POV)

The next day at science class which wasn't our favorite because of our strict science teacher Mrs. Mendeleiev. We were not interested in the chemistry experiment but Kim did something on purpose. He accidentally put a piece of dry ice in the sink next to him which caused the smoke to overflow and the bubbling noise.

"Oh, god! What did you do, Kim?!" Our teacher freaked out.

"I accidentally dropped some dry ice," Kim said as the smoke spread.

"You can't stop it or touch it! But this will be good for Halloween" Max said, stepping away from the overflowing cold smoke.

The classmates and I laughed a little that the dry ice in the sink was still going. It's soaking the desk due to how cold it is.

"How do I make it stop? I can't put my hand in there" Kim snickered.

"Or your hands get burnt," Max said.

"Wow, it's like smoke and mirrors" Alix laughed.

"Agh, class dismissed!" Mrs. Mendeleiev sighs.

We laughed and left the class, finally, to get away from that boring teacher. At least Kim did something annoying to get us out of that class was luck.

*Adrien and I walked together to the library. Somewhere we can talk to each other in peace without Chloe or Lila ruining the moment. At least now *Adrien knows what it's like to get bullied by Chloe and Lila in my body because he's never been bullied in his entire life. Guess his bodyguard has done so much work that nobody dares bully him. But I know *Adrien can tell off my bullies like Lila. Like how many times was he naive when my enemies manipulate him?

"So now you know what getting bullied feels like?" I asked him.

"I felt vulnerable." *Adrien said.

"Reasoning with bullies is very pointless, Adrien. That's why I never like listening to liars because getting manipulated is very hurtful, especially when they get away with it. Remember when Lila framed me and got me expelled for something I never committed?" I asked him.

"I do remember that and I was not very happy." *Adrien said.

"I'm just glad that you soon enough saw through her lies," I said.

"Well, it did take me this long, milady. I've been raised to obey my father" *Adrien said.

"Well, not when you're a hero." I pointed out.

"Except for that." He nodded.

"And I understand why your life is hard. You as a kitty, you get to be yourself with a flirty attitude. You wanted freedom" I said.

"And someone to love as well. This kitty has been starving for love way too long." *Adrien placed his hand on mine.

"Is that why you love Ladybug? Not just because she's a hero?" I asked seriously while holding his hand.

"Yeah, not only because we're partners in crime. But after all rejections, it really shook me that it was me you had a crush on." *Adrien said.

"Yes, but we talked it through already. I wish I can just kiss you but you're in my body" I said, not wanna imagine how it would feel to kiss a guy in a girl's body.

"I know how it feels. I kissed you to keep you from being akumatized." *Adrien said.

"Yes but, I meant for real," I said.

"I know but who knows if our....hormones.....get the best of us and I seriously do not wanna know about female hormones. Never in my life" *Adrien crossed his arms to never think about that.

"Not me about male hormones," I replied.

"Mmhmm." *Adrien blushed at this.

I grabbed a book to read about Chinese with him. It's not easy to understand this language but hopefully, someday I will.

"I speak a few languages than just Chinese, milady. My dad makes me learn them through tutors. It wasn't my thing but it took me years to practice" *Adrien said, helping her out, even though it won't be easy to understand Chinese.

"Okay, how do you say 'beautiful' in Chinese?" I asked.

"Měilì de." *Adrien said.

"Okay. Měilì de." I repeated after him.

After learning to try Chinese, it wasn't very easy for me. At least my love knows I tried my best, he can't force me to try harder, unlike his father. Hopefully, when he's back in his body, archery shouldn't be a problem for him. It may not be his favorite activity but trying something new can be a bit of a surprise.

"Sometimes I just can't stop looking at the mirror of your gorgeous green eyes like emeralds" I complimented.

"Well, your blue eyes are like diamonds." *Adrien said.

"Aw Adrien." I smiled warmly at his words.

We snuggled each other like cute little kittens wanting some love. We looked at the clock and saw we still got time until the next class. I suddenly heard myself purr by accident. Oh god! Did I just purr?! It's no wonder how long Adrien has been the charming kitty cat.

"Huh? Am I crazy or you just purred?" *Adrien looked at me.

"Uhh.....cat instincts?" I guessed with a blush.

"Yeah." *Adrien nodded as we went for the next class.

(Normal POV)

After school was over, they remembered that they have to show up at Anarka's houseboat as superheroes to sing their song since it's tonight. *Adrien did say that he won't make it while *Marinette said she has more fashion designs to do but she hopes that Alya records it since her BFF knows she's Ladybug.

"Don't forget to set the piano melody from my phone to my piano" *Adrien reminded her.

"Got it Kitty-bug." Marinette nods.

"He's always the sweetest guy. I'm sure he knows you're a busy girl" *Adrien said.

"Yes, even though my heart wasn't meant for him." *Marinette said.

"But you're still friends with him, right?" He asked.

"Yes, so it shouldn't be a problem. Bye Kitty." *Marinette said heading to the limo.

"So, got a song for your lady?" Alya asked.

"Don't get me started, Alya. But she and I have practiced a few times but she gets so insensitive with my feelings for her but not anymore ever since we switched bodies." *Adrien said as they walked to the bakery.

"I know you two can do it," Alya said.

"I know. But hopefully, she knows what to do by sneaking out like a cat. You know my dad is very strict" *Adrien said.

"Yes. I really wish he wasn't." Alya said.

"And he put me, well technically Marinette in my place in archery. My dad never lets me try what I wanna do in my life. At least Marinette now understands why my life is complicated, especially my Cat Noir life" *Adrien said as they head inside and upstairs to the apartment.

"Seriously?! Did he put his son in archery against your will? Marinette would feel angry about that" Alya said as they head to Marinette's room.

"Yes, I quit fencing after my breakup with Kagami." *Adrien sat at the chaise with her.

"Because she doesn't know you're Cat Noir. I'm sorry about that, Adrien. It was also hard for Marinette to have time with Luka" Alya said.

"Yes. That's a thing we had in common, we had problems with relationships until now. But one thing is that I hate secrets. Ladybug doesn't see what I was suffering from as Cat Noir. But I had to be forced to accept that the same way I have to accept things with my father. She and my dad are so secretive and I hated it. It drives me crazy" *Adrien made a fist.

"But she eventually told you once you switched," Alya said.

"Which took her too long to tell me the truth. But I was too obnoxious and selfish because she never told me I was akumatized as Cat Blanc in an alternative future timeline. I have never seen her so traumatized during the Daymare incident that her deepest darkest nightmare is Cat Blanc. She was afraid that if I knew her identity, I would become Cat Blanc again. She said that Cat Blanc is the most powerful supervillain" *Adrien explained it to her.

"Oh my goodness." Ayla was shocked

"But I realized that she was trying to protect me. I know why we can't know about each other because of Shadow Moth trying to take our miraculous" *Adrien said.

"It took her a while to tell me," Alya said.

"Yes but I'm still ashamed for making her feel sad and letting my anger on her." He said.

"I told her a few times to not be irresponsible. But she's the guardian, Adrien. Everyone makes mistakes in their lives" Alya said.

"Yeah. Anyways, I'll meet you up at the houseboat. Tikki spots on!" He transformed into Ladybug.

That night, *Ladybug and *Cat Noir arrived at the houseboat while the Kitty Section members were ready to play their musical instruments. Luka was a little disappointed that Marinette and Adrien didn't show up but Alya said that they have important stuff to do but she would be happy to record it for them so they can see it tomorrow.

"Well, milady. Let's see if our romantic song opens their hearts with a beat" *Ladybug did her Cat Noir act.

"You got it, Kitty. Let us bring the purrrrfect song." *Cat Noir did his Ladybug act.

"I thought I get to use my cat puns, bugaboo" *Ladybug teased.

"Ladies first, kitty." *Cat Noir said with a sassy tone.

"Sure Bugaboo." *Ladybug winked and started.

"If you get too handsome on me again, I'll be calling you pussy cat" *Cat Noir smirked.

"I'm very much like prince char-meow-ing, bugaboo" *Ladybug grinned.

"Whatever you say, feline boy" *Cat Noir rolled his eyes.
