*Marinette was talking to Nino on video chat from the phone about her time with *Adrien, even though Nino doesn't know that his best pal is in her body.

"My man, I saw you have feelings for her. You and dudette are like Romeo and Juliet." Nino said through the video screen.

"Come on, Nino. We're just friends. Even if it was forbidden love, my father wouldn't let me be in love with her" She said with her Adrien act.

"He'll just have to accept it one day. She's perfect for you." Nino said.

"Keep on dreaming, Nino. All the girls think I'm handsome and sexy. What makes you think Marinette is perfect for me?" *Marinette pretending she doesn't know.

"I mean she's not like Chloe or Lila. Sure Kagami and you broke up but Marinette's like our everyday Ladybug." Nino said.

"Save for that she has no powers." *Marinette said.

"And she can be a bit clumsy," Nino added.

"Uhh....that's what I like about her." She said stupidly.

"Nobody's fully perfect though," Nino said.

"Which is why I don't appreciate Chloe being so obnoxious that everyone is not perfect in her eyes. Please don't mention about the accidental kiss. It wasn't really a kiss" *Marinette blushed.

"Okay, but Marinette kissed you again to prevent an akuma attack," Nino said.

"It was the only way to keep my negative emotions away." *Marinette said.

"Love at first sight, my dude. That's your first kiss" Nino said which made the swapped body teen blush.

"I swear, she saved my life. Chloe got me angry. I didn't mean to get angry but Chloe is always irresponsible with everything" *Marinette said, angry at the fact that Chloe is always afraid to tell the truth of her responsibilities.

"Yeah, I really hate Chloe." Nino agreed.

"That she's like a wasp that stings everyone in the back? Come on, turtle boy, you can live up for a century like a turtle than that" *Marinette giggled.

"Ha ha, very funny. But still, Chloe is always the meanest person in Paris. Remember how rude she was to think we ruined her ridiculous un-inspirational Queen Banana film?" Nino remembering when he is the director of the group film.

"Yeah, I remember. But Adri—...I mean I warned her to be nice or we are no longer friends. We can't force her to change, Nino. Kindness is just not her quality" *Marinette said.

"Yeah, I know. Anyways, perhaps you should get to know dudette. I've seen how sometimes protective you are to her. Like I said, love at first sight." Nino teased her.

"Fine, turtle boy. Don't forget to be sneaky and slow like a turtle for your sneaky sly fox girl" *Marinette teased him back.

"Oh yeah. Well, catch you later Adrien. Shell off." Nino said.

"See you later." *Marinette hung up.

She thought about that kiss but it wasn't what she imagined. She kissed *Adrien in her body. It did feel good but so wrong in the wrong perspective. If only it felt real to kiss him with his real body. Sure she did kiss him to save him from Dark Cupid's hatred spell but he doesn't remember that. She can't wait anymore to get her body back.

She then heard her bedroom door open and Adrien's father and his assistant walked in for something to tell him.

"Adrien, since you quit fencing due to a terrible breakup with Kagami, I am replacing fencing with archery. You will be taking archery lessons after school tomorrow" Gabriel said.

"What?! But father! I'm not into archery!" *Marinette protested.

"It's already been done. You need a new activity. No exceptions" Gabriel did not care.

"Fine." *Marinette sighs.

"You'll see it's not so bad once you've tried," Gabriel said before leaving.

"Grrrrr!!!! That father is so....selfish! Plagg claws out!" She transformed into Cat Noir and heads out the window to tell the news to *Adrien.

At Marinette's house, *Adrien was sitting on the balcony on the roof and looked up at the sky.

"Hey, Adrien." *Ladybug's voice came.

"Milady. You came." *Adrien got up.

"You're not gonna believe this. Your father gave me, well you a new activity, archery." *Marinette said.

"What?!" *Adrien gasps.

"He wants you to try a new activity. I protested but he won't listen to me. I can't believe your father makes decisions for your life instead of yourself making your own choices in life" *Ladybug said, jumping to the rail like a cat.

"I know. Once I'm 18 I'm out of there. He just can't be a better dad, with or without my mother." *Adrien said.

"You're too young for archery. I don't understand. Have you ever done bows and arrows?" *Ladybug asked.

"No, just fencing." *Adrien said.

"This isn't right. Why does your father make choices for you when you're old enough to make your own choices like you did with coming to your first day of school?" *Ladybug asked, angry that Mr. Agreste never sees that his son is nothing like him.

"It could have been since my mom disappeared that changed him or worse, I believe he's hiding something out there." *Adrien said.

"Why can't he focus on what's important than neglecting you? Adrien, your father is so....difficult to talk to. It's like....he doesn't know the meaning of being a father to you and you become.....lonely. A parent is supposed to care for their kids, not leave them in the dark. Like I did to you" *Ladybug sighed at how she understands why *Adrien's life is difficult.

"I know that Milady, but you're different." *Adrien said.

"I still regret leaving you in darkness." *Ladybug said.

"You didn't know, bugaboo" *Adrien reassured her.

"Yeah, but you got me full-time now." *Ladybug said.

The swapped model boy pulled his lady close to sit on her lap on the chair, "Milady, my life is very hard you know. I just don't have a choice but to listen to my father. That's all I ever do. Sometimes whenever I disobey him or make a mistake, he grounds me. It's just how I live with it"

"My life is also sometimes difficult too, Adrien. Sure it's great you got the freedom but sometimes being the guardian requires responsibility" *Ladybug said.

"Yeah, life can't always be as expected." *Adrien said.

"But still, your father signed me, well, you, for archery. I don't think I can survive this tomorrow after school. Archery is for Olympics" *Ladybug moaned and slumped on *Adrien's shoulder.

*Adrien held her to comfort her, "I get the feeling I won't be able to be around there." He said.

"I hope your body knows about archery than me" *Ladybug sighed in stress.

"Seeing that I've watched movies like Robin Hood I should know how to shoot." *Adrien said, making the pulling bow gesture.

"Life isn't a cartoon, Adrien" *Ladybug said.

"Hehe, I know milady." *Adrien laughed a bit.

"But I'm not sure if I can do it. If I mess up your father would be more disappointed." *Ladybug said.

"Hey, as heroes we don't give up until the villain is defeated." *Adrien said.

"I'm serious, Adrien. Your father seriously doesn't like how I didn't 'practice' enough with piano. He's so bossy" *Ladybug crossed her arms.

"I wish one day I could myself stand up against him." *Adrien said.

"But I don't know if He's...just protective of me, that's all" *Adrien added.

"Adrien, you're 14 years old. You're a big boy and you know how to take care of yourself. He barely sees you grown-up" *Ladybug said, pulling him close to her lap.

*Adrien just gave a deep sigh, "You're right, milady. He barely sees me as a man. But when he lost my mom, he's afraid to lose me. It's like I remind him of her because I have her looks, her hair, and her eyes" He said, blushing at the position he's in.

"Could be." *Ladybug realized the position too.

The next day, *Marinette was looking pale like a ghost because she knew that archery is outside the school building. She was not ready for this and she bet that if Adrien was in his real body, he wouldn't be able to know archery. The targets were being placed out and *Marinette was given a bow and some arrows.

"Adrien would definitely not be good at this. But maybe you can help this puppet body of his" Plagg whispered from the jacket.

"Okay. I better relax." *Marinette said.

"Mr. Agreste? I didn't know you like archery" The instructor said.

"Uhhh....well.....I heard about it but I never did one." *Marinette said nervously, still pale as ever.

"Okay. We're going through first how it's done." The instructor demonstrates.

The students were looking at her like crazy. Of course, she forgot that she's Adrien and that he's the famous model of Paris.

"Okay, now you try Mr. Agreste." The instructor hands over the bow.

She hesitated a little but has to try if she wants the real Adrien to survive this new activity. She still can't believe that his father signed up for this without thinking of his son's own decision. She pulls the arrow and shoots at the target but only hits the outer ring.

"Well, that's something." The instructor said.

"Uhh....beginner's luck?" She said nervously.

"Keep trying Mr. Agreste." The instructor told her. *Marinette pulls the bow and arrow again.

"Focus Marinette, focus." She thought while holding the bow and released the grip and it aimed nearly at the middle.

"Wow, I almost got a bullseye!" *Marinette gasps.

"First beginners always try their best, Mr. Agreste," The instructor said.

"Thank you." *Marinette thanked her.

After archery was over, *Marinette was beyond pale from doing something she didn't want to do. How will Adrien learn archery when he hasn't literally done it in his real body?

"Oh boy. I need a break." *Marinette collapsed on a bench.

"Oh please. Men are strong." Plagg complained that *Marinette is being dramatic.

"Neither me nor Adrien has done this." *Marinette said.

She saw a bright pink flash in the tree and she knew who it is, "Hey Milady." It was *Adrien.

"Hey, kitty. Stuck on a tree like a cat?" *Marinette teased him.

"Nope, just spying on you." *Adrien climbs down.

"You bad boy" *Marinette smirked but saw he rolled his blue eyes.

"Yeah, my bugaboo." He rubs his nose with hers.

"How long have you spied on me at the archery, bugaboy?" She asked as she gently pushed him off.

"For quite some time. You did quite well." He said.

"And I hope you'll do good in your real body. My fingers hurt from that thick rope on the bow" *Marinette said, rubbing her sore fingers.

"Maybe you can ask my dad for gloves." *Adrien said.

"I don't think he'd listen. And Plagg said men are strong." *Marinette said.

"Not all men are strong, milady. Sure we have strong muscles but that doesn't mean we are physically strong" *Adrien said, noticing the red skin on her hands.

"Yeah." *Marinette nodded.

"My father never listens to me. He taught me that showing my sadness is a weakness and that I should never show it. He thinks my friends are a bad influence which obviously was a lie. You guys bring me happiness" *Adrien said, holding *Marinette's hand gently.

"Thank you, Adrien." *Marinette smiled.
