Chapter 5

I sat at my desk on my break. I sighed as I looked around the dull office building. It was my second week working for this company and I already feel sick of it. If I could have it my way, I would be going to meet and greets everyday to see my favourite boys in the world.

Talking about meeting my favourite boys in the world, I managed to grab a photo of Min Yoongi yesterday and I printed it out so I could have it at my desk whenever I get bored or sad. His cute little smile made me smile. Ah. This boy actually kills me.

I took a sip of my cup of tea and looked at his angelic face one last time before I got back to work.

My job consist of sitting at a desk all day reading through customer feedback for the company I'm currently employed by. I have to read through them, make a small report and send it off to the right person. I have to send all the positive feedback to Jane, all the negative to Peter and everything else to Jack. I seriously hate Jack with a passion. He reminds me so much of Richard.

I took another sip of my tea but as it was halfway to my mouth, a hand slapped me on my shoulder. I jumped from the sudden human contact and flinched away. It was Jack. The dickhead started laughing.

"Jeez why are you jumpy today?" He laughed. "Its like you've seen a ghost!"

He shook his head, still laughing, as he walked away. He thought he was top dog around here and that he runs this shit show. But let me tell you, he is nothing but an ass sucking piece of shit. All he does is suck up to the big boss and get everyone else to do the actual work.

I sipped on my tea and then gritted my teeth as I carried on with my work.

My phone buzzed and I picked it up to have a quick look.

1 new message from Unknown Number.

I tilted my head and opened the message.

Unknown Number: Hey!

Bailey: Hi. Sorry I can't talk right now, I'm at work. But may I ask who is this?

I placed my phone down on my desk and started working again. My phone didn't buzz until five minutes after I had sent the text back to them. I opened the new message from this unknown person.

Unknown Number: Oh. That's okay. Text me after you finish work. I want to meet up.

Bailey: I finish at 5pm. And I still don't know who you are...

I locked my phone and put it back down on my desk. It buzzed a minute later.

Unknown Number: What's the address of your workplace. I'll pick you up. And you know me because you gave me your number the other day.

Bailey: Okay but why can't you say your name? I can think of three people I've given my number to in the last week.

Unknown Number: Just trust me. Address?

Bailey: Fine. But I can't talk until I finish. Otherwise the guy in charge will kill me.

Unknown Number: Okay!

I texted the address to the unknown person and prayed to God it wasn't going to be a serial killer. But since Richard used to tell me I was no fun because I always stuck to the rules, I've tried to get out of my comfort zone and try new things. And if that leads to my death... Then Richard will have my blood on his hands.

I stride out of the front door of my workplace once I finished for the day. I hate it there so much. Jack made the rest of my afternoon hell by lecturing me constantly on how to format the files for his liking. Even though company policies are strict on how to format correctly. Ah. I really felt like punching something.

I continued to walk down the fairly empty rows of the car park when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I took it out and saw a message from the unknown person.

Unknown Number: Where are you going? I thought you were meeting up with me?

I stopped and looked around. I had no idea where this mysterious person was.

Bailey: Sorry. I've had a bad day at work. I forgot all about this. I'm not sure if I have the energy to meet up anymore.

Unknown Number: It's okay. How about I take your mind off things with a relaxing evening?

I hesitated with my reply. This person was really persistence.

Bailey: Okay. Which car is yours?

Unknown Number: The one sitting outside the front doors of your workplace. You walked straight passed it. I'll get the driver to come up to you. Stay there.

I frowned at the word 'driver'. This person had a personal driver? Who were they?

I watch as a fancy car I hadn't noticed before drove up to me. The back door opens and I hop in with a lot of hesitation. I close the door and look up. Sitting across from me was an actual angel. I shyly smiled as I buckled up. The car started to drive.

"I forgot to tell you when we met that your smile is adorable. So I guess now is the time. Bailey, I think your smile is absolutely adorable," he said.

I blushed hard. I tucked my hair behind my ear as I looked down at my lap.

"You are adorable," he said while chuckling.
