I don't exactly know what I'm going to call these, if you have a name suggestion, tell me and if I pick yours, you get a free one. So these are sort of like water spirits. They live of course in water, but any kind of water. Saltwater, rivers, lakes, they can even be frozen in ice. But if a dragon gets into the water, the spirit will infect them. The dragon will now look roughly like the picture above. The water can be tinted different colors, and have different animals in it. The example has small sharks in the tail. A frozen one might have chunks of ice and seals or belugas floating around. A tropical one might have turtles. The dragon with retain some of its features, but will also of course look infected. The spirit will reside in a piece of jewelry. The dragon doesn't have free will over its body, so only the spirit or another dragon can take it off. The example has a shell. However, these spirits are very powerful so other dragons aren't very effective fighters over them. If the piece of jewelry is somehow taken off or broken, the water on the dragon's body will turn into regular water, the animals will turn into regular animals, and the spirit will run and retreat to it's region. The spirits look sort of like watery smoke. I'll design them later. THESE ARE A CLOSED SPECIES, YOU MAY NOT MAKE ONE. However, I am allowing a free one to the person who comes up with the best name, and one to whoever fills out the best bio for their spirit. You can fill out the bio, but if you win, I will design the dragon's infected design. I am allowing these 3 users to make their own, because they are boss.
