Nicknames.  here are some from my team:
Abs
Sid the squid
Pineapple/blondylocks
Holls
Em

Pretty much all we do is shorten their name. I don't have one. Mainly because I come up with these nicknames. I kid you not though these nicknames stick. We use these names instead of their names.
