Getting to know her

The morning after, Morgan woke up with his arms around her. She smelled so nice and he relished having her in his arms. When she moved carefully, so did he and pulled her closer to him. Her bright blue eyes fluttered open and they laid there for a while, just looking at each other.

"I thought I just made everything up," she mumbled quiet.

He smiled. "I thought this was my idea."

Joy sparkled in her eyes. "I'm glad you thought of it." There was a shy smile on her face, hiding the girl from last night who wasn't afraid to get what she wanted.

"Yeah, me too," he smiled and kissed her. They remained in bed a good while, just enjoying to be close again. Her stomach started to rumble, and she looked a bit embarrassed, but Morgan just smiled. "Let's eat."

They got out of bed and Morgan glanced at her while she put pants and a shirt on as he stepped into a pair of jeans and pulled a white t-shirt on.

"Shouldn't you be wearing all black?" she joked and he loved this playful part of her, well actually he loved every part of her. His heart quickened as he thought of some very savoring parts he had just started to explore the night before.

He cleared his throat. "I think you're referring to my twin brother, Vin'. I'm Morgan," he explained, chuckled and slid his arms around her, starting to tickle her.

She squirmed in his arms, with a flirtatious grin. "Yeah, I think I've met him..." she answered sneaky.

"I hope it's not him you're after. Cause he can be dangerous." He tried to sound intimidating, the voice he used for his alter ego.

She laughed and hugged him. "No, it really is Morgan I want." He couldn't tell how amazing those words made him feel. Isa smiled, turned her face toward him and kissed him lightly.

"Good!" he said and needed a distraction before he would rip those clothes off her delightful body again. "I was wondering if you could show me your life. You've seen my... well, only my work." The last had a slightly bitter tone as he comprehended how all he had shown her was his work. "I'm sorry I haven't been able to show you more of mine. Well I work all the time, so you've actually seen the most of it," he added dryly.

She just smiled. "Let's go eat breakfast first. How about some pickled herring?" Her smile turned devious.

The face he gave her in return wasn't one of joy, he had heard about their strange habits of eating raw or spoiled fish and was not keen on trying it.

"I'd rather have some pancakes or bagels..."

"Sorry, that's not Swedish breakfast."

They kept joking and bickering playfully while they got out into the kitchen. Isa boiled some eggs and picked out rye bread, salad, ham and mayonnaise. He looked confused at her when she picked out a big chunk of cheese and some kitchenware he was not familiar with. She rolled her eyes and cut a thin slice of the cheese to demonstrate.

"Cool!" He smiled.

She rolled her eyes again. "Americans seem to think they're on top of everything."

He did his crocked smile. "I like you on top," sliding his arms around her and gave her a breathtaking kiss. She grabbed him by the t-shirt and held him close until she starting to chuckle against his lips.

Suddenly she looked straight into his eyes with a slightly worried look as if she had something vital that hit her. "I just wanna say; even if I have rubber in my nightstand." She started to blush a bit. "I don't sleep around."

What? He never even considered that. "You don't have to explain!" Morgan stopped her, but felt an irongrip in his stomach.

"You're the first guy that's been in that bedroom."

He watched her intensely. "I'm glad to hear that," and he was really glad for it.

"Just so you know..." she mumbled and stood in silence for a while, pondering whether to tell him the whole story. "I broke off with my ex, and Wilma nagged me about a rebound and suddenly she was pouring rubber in my nightstand..." she said with an eye-roll and a chuckle.

Well isn't that a good friend? Morgan laughed. "Remind me to thank her," he kissed her.

After breakfast they went out hand in hand to explore the town. She told anecdotes while walking through the university area showing him which buildings she had her different classes in, luckily they avoided both teachers and classmates.

"Where are all people?" Morgan asked after a while.

"There is one," she said, pointing. "And there is another one..." she laughed. "This is not New York."

Morgan snickered, really liking this carefree Isa. No it was definitely not New York! Morgan suddenly realized that her description of Sweden had been correct, it was calm. Here were not that many cars and the houses were just two or three stories high. The air was fresh, with no smog; the sky was blue and the sun shined upon them.

They found a nice little restaurant where they got something to eat and just strolled around town, enjoying themselves.

That night after dinner Isa put bowls of popcorn and candy on the coffee-table by the couch, and glasses and soft drinks. It was Thursday, the day she and her friends used to meet; the day "Possibilities" was shown on Swedish TV.

All was set when Angelia and her friend Tuva showed up and sat down with Wilma. Tuva almost fell off the couch when Morgan walked in with Isa. He kissed Wilma and Angelia on the cheek, and reached his hand to introduce himself to Tuva. Her heart almost stopped.

"Tuvva? You have such cool names in Sweden," he smiled towards her while he slid his arm around Isa's waist. "And I'll just call you Angel," he pointed to her friend.

Tuva's eyes were wide with panic, as they flickered between him and Isa. Angelia said something about her parents wanting to name her Angeli, but Morgan was distracted by Tuva's shocked expression.

"Have you never brought home a guy to meet your friends?" he whispered to Isa, loud enough for everybody to hear.

"No, I haven't. That's why they act a little strange."

They all sat down on the couch while Morgan chuckling put his arm around Isa's shoulders. Tuva was weary and sat on the other end of the couch, watching them suspiciously. They talked and laughed a bit and Wilma asked if Isa had packed, since they would be going the morning after.

"No. I have opened the suitcase and put it on my desk but I haven't put anything in it yet," Isa laughed.

The friends told Tuva about Morgan inviting Isa to join him for a trip to Paris. "It's so romantic!" Angelia said, winking at the couple in the end of the coach. "I long for a guy who can just come by and sweep me off my feet," she whined.

"Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's mostly work; there's this award-dinner for Mary and Jacob on Friday and a press conference on Saturday." He glanced at Isa, but she had figured out it wasn't just for pleasure, after all it was the production company who paid for Morgan's trip.

He looked a bit weird when Isa checked the time and turned the TV on. Wasn't that a bit rude to their guests?

"This is what we do Thursday nights," Isa explained, something her friends confirmed.

When the announcement was made and the theme song started Morgan understood what was going on. "What? Are you gonna make me watch this? You're fricki'n kidding me!"

Isa tried to hush him, but he just kept rambling. "Oh my God!"

"Shh, we're trying to watch over here!" Wilma said a bit cocky, making Morgan glare at her, on the verge to growling. He looked just like a vindictive Vincent and Isa's heart started to beat erratically.

Wilma got all stiff, and Tuva was still watching them with suspicion in her eyes. She was the only one who hadn't met him the day before and it took some time to get used to.

Morgan sighed, leaned back and put his arm on the backrest behind Isa again, but it didn't take long for him to complain. "It's embarrassing!" He tried to hide his face in her hair.

"No, embarrassing would be if he found out that we've been sitting here, drooling over him," Angelia mumbled in Swedish.

Morgan glared grim at her. "What?"

"They're just talking about my embarrassing moments, sitting here drooling over you," Isa translated; relieving everybody else from suspicion and a smile widened on Morgan's face. He was just about to say something to her when Isa showed up on the TV-screen, in that scene at the restaurant,

All the girls gasped. "Was that you?"

Morgan laughed. "Busted!"

"Have you been there? Has she been there with you?" they practically yelled, and continued to address Morgan instead when Isa didn't answer. He nodded.

"Why haven't you told us?" the girls were accusing her in both Swedish and English.

"Why I haven't told you?" Isa looked at Morgan and he came to her rescue, "She wasn't aloud too."

The girls got quiet but glared at their friend sitting next to the hunk.

"Wilma, have you got your phone with you? Look at the picture I sent you! Yes, I sent it, not her," Morgan commanded and Isa confirmed it with a frown and a nod. "I didn't even know," she admitted.

Wilma fumbled with her cell phone and found the picture of Morgan and her friend.

"Where is it taken?" Morgan asked.

Wilma watched it carefully and then gasped and started to flash her arms around, gesturing toward the TV. Both Morgan and Isa sat silent, watching her with their eyebrows raised and a smile. Isa told her how Morgan at the time wanted to call and tell her, but how she had stopped him.

"I was so tired, I was trying to figure out what time it was in Sweden, and I just couldn't," Morgan looked puzzled at her while Isa told everybody how she had been on a flight all night and had barely slept at all.

The commercial break was over and Morgan hushed the girls with a stern look. Isa laughed and nudged him with her elbow. He laughed and pulled her closer to him.

Her friends watched her jealous.

The girls were soon engulfed in the actions on TV and were only disturbed a bit by Morgan's sighing or comments about things that could have been done better or some scene that had been cut. That's when Robert's character 'Hans' showed up on screen for the first time, and once again Wilma started to wave her arms around again.

Luckily the show was once again cut for commercials.

"Oh, oh..." and with those carefully chosen words she pulled out her cell phone again and flipped through her pictures till she found the one of Robert and Isa in bed together. She showed it to her.

"Yeah, that's Robert, my stepbrother," she explained, but Morgan snapped the phone and glared at it.

"And what is this? Are you having another vampire on the side?"

Isa noticed that he looked really jealous. "That was before you made me your girlfriend."

He returned the phone to Wilma but kept his gaze on Isa.

"Are you jealous?" she mouthed discreet while the others had their focus on the TV screen again. He didn't say anything, but his face was easy to read. What do you think?

Soon the tv showed a love scene between Morgan and Amanda's characters. This was Isa's turn to give Morgan a pointed look that said; 'And what do you think I have to deal with?'

Morgan looked a surprised at her. He hadn't intended for it to be so visual but Isa seemed to read his mind perfectly clear. She had been on set and watched him do his job; there had been nothing but friendship between the two of them, despite what the tabloids had said. Well, the two of them had only themselves to blame for those tabloids; they had found it funny and started to hold hand in public, just for the fun of it. He smiled at her, but seemed to recall how it had felt to se Robert and her on photo.

The next commercial brake was of course a real cliff hanger and Wilma pleaded to Morgan.

"You know what's gonna happen," she looked frustrated. "Please tell us."

He turned his dark dangerous eyes on her. "I could tell you... but then I would have to eat you," he added dramatic, which caused the girls to giggle hysterically.

Isa just watched him carefully. "Vin'..." she said soft. "We would like to talk to Morgan now."

He barked out something between laughter and a snort. "Oh, my god, I can't watch this! I'm getting in to work-mode," he exclaimed and flung his arms out.

"I noticed ."

"I better go!" He got up from the couch and left the room; Isa watched him walk to the kitchen with a smile on her face.

"This is insane! How the hell did this happen?" Angelia hissed in Swedish. "Here we are watching this like we always do, and there he sit, right next to you."

"I know, it's totally sick!" Tuva finally got some words out, still with her eyes wide as saucers.

As the final theme song played, Morgan sauntered back in the room and sat down on the couch. "Are you guys done talking about me now?" he asked with a smile.

"Yes, it was really considerate of you to leave us for a while. But, we can speak Swedish if you don't want to hear what we say," she said considerate, but of course in a totally teasing way, cracking a giggle fit.

He laid his arm around her, pulling her to him. "You're mean! Is she always this mean?" he asked her friends.

"No, she's actually a whole different person tonight," Wilma said truthfully.

"I'm sorry; I need some attitude to keep up with Vincent," Isa tried to defend herself.

"Yeah, you better keep up!" he said cocky and gave her a light kiss.

"How the hell did this happen?" Angelia yelled and started to laugh. "This is surreal!"

"Surreal for you; My God, this is surreal for me! Suddenly I'm living in a house filled with Swedish women!" We all watched him a bit puzzled. "You do know what they say about Swedish women, don't you?" he asked as if they didn't know. Icy glares met him. He started to laugh. "I'm just kidding!"

"You better!" Isa snapped.

"Ah, sweetie..." he said, drew a line along her jaw and then kissed her.

"I say it again: How the hell did this happen?" Angelia said.

He and Isa just watched each other, she didn't know what to say. Morgan was the one who started. "It was a heist. I was just waiting for an opportunity, and when it came I acted on impulse."

Her brows lowered as she surprised watched him.

"I knew I just had to have you. Almost from the moment you walked into the makeup-room," he added with a smile and a tilted eyebrow.

They kept watching one another and when Isa finally turned her head to watch her friends again, they sat there with their mouths hanging open. It was like they hadn't believed it, even if he sat on the couch with his arm around her.

"Well you all know I've been drooling right here on the couch," Isa uttered with a cocky face.

"Stalker!" Morgan snorted.

She laughed out loud and watched him with her mouth open. "At least I didn't out you to the press!" she accused him and did a recap for her friends.

"You loved it!"

"I was terrified!"

Morgan watched her intense. "I thought you were a natural," he said softly. "I was so impressed with you."

Her mouth fell open.

She wasn't even aware of how quiet the room had gotten and how everybody watched this interaction between their friend and the gorgeous man by her side.

Tuva harrumphed and Isa snapped out of her perplex mood. "I think it's time for us to leave now," Tuva said with a pointy look and got up from the couch.

The other mimicked her actions and Isa and Morgan walked them to the door. Angelia and Isa hugged their friends and they got a kiss on the cheek from Morgan. Angelia and Isa helped to put the dishes in the dishwasher, then said goodnight and walked to their different rooms.

Isa walked to her wardrobe to start packing the suitcase.

"What's this thing with Robert?" Morgan was lying on her bed with his hands behind his head.

Isa turned to watch his glorious face. "On the photo? Acting, I assure you, just to tease Wilma. Oh, we tried, but it was nothing like when you and I kissed. "

The look he gave her was scrutinizing as if he tried to tell if she was being honest or not.

"So, come and kiss me already!" she ordered and he was fast to obey.

When she had packed a few necessities in her bag he walked up to stand behind her, softly pulling her hair to the side and kissed her along the neck.

"You shouldn't have made me watch that on tv. I'm still in Vin' mode..." he murmured and nibbled on her neck. Isa gasped and shills went down her spine. "You have really brought the beast out now," he mumbled, turned her around and kissed her hard.

Isa broke the kiss off and laughed. "So, it's the other brother now?"

He just smiled and raised his eyebrows. "To for the price of one..."
