The flight home was long and it felt like forever before Isa would reach the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. She tried to read, but not even her hilarious books could keep her distracted. Flicking through movies on the screen before helped as little, but luckily the long nights in the woods took its toll and she finally fell asleep.

When she woke up, the flight attendant had placed a blanket around her and she smiled, feeling a bit pampered. A few hours had past and it wasn't that long before the plane landed at Kastrup airport. It had been eventful weeks over there. Romance, friendship and adventure; what else could you wish for in a holiday trip?

Jet lag was killing her for days after her return home. Her head was threatening to crack open and despite Wilma's phone calls, it took three days for Isa to return to school and her friend.

Wilma was incredible curious of Isa's weeks away. "How was the gallery; nice people working there?" she was so happy to have her friend home again, and Isa had missed her like crazy. "Anyone good looking?" Wilma's eyes sparkled.

"There was a Gary, he was really good looking!"

Wilma clapped her hands delighted.

"But he was gay..."

Wilma glared at her friend and slapped her arm, making her laugh evilly.

"Oh, but I met Andreas in New York." She remembered. "And we had a blast!"

"Andreas?"

Isa laughed and told her about the sculpturer who she had met before; working at a gallery close to her old hometown. "He's one of the good guys, has a great sense of humor."

"Your twisted humor? God help us!" Wilma exclaimed.

"Hey! Not cool!" Isa pointed out, making Wilma giggle.

Isa was really glad to see the girl who had quickly become her friend. Isa was in fact dying to tell her everything she had been through, and who she had met, but she didn't know how much she was allowed to tell her. Everything she had seen on set were in fact classified information.

"Ellen is pregnant and I got to meet Bryan, her husband." Isa told her and they could rejoice for their sake. Isa had told Wilma a little about her family on the other side of the ocean.

"So you have a good relationship then?"

"Yes, it was fabulous, I felt really welcome. I'm so glad mom and David met, he's a great guy."

Wilma smiled; she was glad that Isa's parents had a somewhat good relationship; her own parents were divorced too, but they couldn't stand the sight of each other.

"But wasn't there a son as well? I remember you telling me."

A great smile made Isa all giddy inside. "Yes, he's great as well; a hunk!" But then the failed kissing swept that smile of her face. Too bad...

Slowly Isa got back into the usual routines back in Sweden. The weeks rolled by fast with school, part time work at a gallery and hanging out with her friends. Everybody were their old perky self; everybody but Isa. Wilma could see that there was something bothering her even if Isa did her best to hide it from her.

"A night out is what you need my gloomy friend." Wilma decided.

They went to their favorite hang out place where they met up with friends of theirs. The mood was good, people were laughing, drinking and dancing, pretty much the same as always, mostly oblivious to Isa's blue mood.

"Come on Isa, let's dance." Daniel grabbed her hand and almost dragged her to the dancefloor. "You are never this reluctant, what has happened to you?" He teased her.

Isa just stuck her tongue out at him, making him chuckle and wrap his arms around her.

"You are dancing with me, even if I need to get you drunk to do it," he threatened playfully.

"Fine!" she snapped. "Just get your hands off of me!" she scolded in the same jokeful manner.

He chuckled and took her hands instead, trying his hardest to get her in a good dancing mood. He was a good friend of hers, but had never been anything else. Isa thought that he actually had his eyes on Wilma, and thought that he might get to her through her friend.

"Did Wilma tell you to cheer me up?" Isa asked him with a grim face.

"No. Do you need to be cheered up?"

She laughed. "No."

"Let's tell her I did," he whispered conspiratorially, making Isa laugh again.

Amazingly enough, Daniel actually managed to lift her spirit. They goofed around a bit on that dance floor, dancing and laughing. Afterwards they sat down by the table with their friends. Joachim, one of the other guys in their little circle of friends put a tray of shot-glasses on the table and everyone was urged to take one.

"Cheers to the headache we'll have tomorrow!" He cheered and they all laughed, raised their glasses and drank to that.

They were on the dance floor several times that night, but Isa found herself lounging in her own thoughts more than she should. Even if the evening was nice, it still had lost its charm a bit.

Or is it I who have lost my charm? she asked herself.

Their favorite TV-show was still on hiatus, so that wasn't something that could keep her mind off the drama overseas. Perhaps that was a strike of luck; it would be extremely hard to keep her face, while seeing the vamps on TV.

In about a week Wilma was very bubbly and upbeat when the girls met after school. "Isa, Isa!" she yelled excited.

Isa laughed just by the look of her friend's face and the joy. "Calm down, what is it?"

Wilma yelped and waved her hands and Isa was a little worried her friend had gone completely bananas. "They have announced it, and I have a picture!" she yelled, pulled out her iPhone and started to flip through her pictures.

Isa watched her with a slightly worried face.

Wilma found what she was after and put her phone in her friends face, making Isa look at a picture of her step-brother. Isa started to cough a bit.

"This is the guy who is playing Hans on Possibilities!" She yelled excited.

"Really?" Isa said and tried to feign a surprised face.

"Yes, isn't he drop dead gorgeous?!" She yelped with a giggle.

You have no idea!

Robert called once in a while to talk to his sister. There were still some tensions between them, and that seemed to get worse with time. It was a little hard to explain those phone calls, especially when he called when Wilma and Isa hung out.

Wilma teased her a lot! "Hey, come on, tell it like it is!"

"What?" Isa asked a little worried that Wilma had figured things out.

"That's not you brother, you've met someone and you don't want to tell who he is!"

Isa laughed out loud.

"You're absolutely right; I did meet someone and I really like him. The problem is that he really is my brother!" She could feel her face reveal the true bitterness. "Honestly I really wished he wasn't my brother, and so does he; but fact is fact."

Wilma studied her friend like she had given her a puzzle to solve.
