Narrators P.O.V
L was awake looking around the dark room and noticed that Light was sleeping "Light?" no response L sighed lucky the chain was long enough for L to go to the bathroom and not disturb light. L walked to the bathroom and found a small box of razor blades L grabbed a small razor and slit his skin not enough to kill him but just enough he winced at the pain he rolled up his sleeves they were covered in cuts he slit small lines in his legs he started to tear up and grabbed a towel to rub away the crimson liquid, he turned on the sink tap and threw away the razor and hid the box of unused ones and he started to weep even louder than the sink "why..*sniffle* why me..." Light's eyes shot open and heard small weeps and murmurs in the bathroom and it was obvious it was L and he was trying to hide something Light opened to find L...crying?! Light rushed over to L and started to inspect the scene Light saw blood...everywhere... "L who did this to you?!" L just started to cry even more Light noticed blood stains on his sleeves, Light had a pretty good idea of what happened and pinned L to the floor with one hand and held L's writs he winced at the pain Light with his free hand pulled down L's sleeves both of the men's faces were horrified and shocked L struggled and try to get out of Lights grasp, didn't work "Why L, why would you do this to yourself" L was trying to avoid Lights gaze but it didn't work "I've been in so much pressure from the Kira case that I needed a release" Light knew L was telling the truth but not all of it "there are more reasons aren't there..." Light gazed down at L not into his eyes but his soul L struggled some more but Light just tightened his grasp and made L wince "a-and k-kno-knowing that your only..." there was silence L's face was red "THAT-THE -PERSON-YOU-LOVE-AND-ONLY-FRIEND-PROBABLY-WANTS-YOU-DEAD" L started to ball out tears and even though it hurt L he escaped Lights grasp and started to run to the bathroom door "Lawliet *sob* my-my name is Lawliet" and Lawliet unchained himself with the key in his pocket and ran
