CHAPTER - 60

"How many times have I told you to get a room for yourself if you want to romance," I shout as I open the gates. Neha and her fiancee pull away quickly.

"I thought that rule was only because kids were around." Kiaan grins at me.

"Oh my God!" Neha's eyes widen in surprise.

I look at Mishti and grin proudly because I managed to surprise her. She shakes her head as she conceals her smile.

Arya and Aryan run to hug Neha and Kiaan. Clasping Mishti's hand in mine I lead her in, she grips my hand as we walk in. We left Badi maa's place in the afternoon and came here.

"I am so happy to see you here." Neha expresses as she hugs Mishti. Mishti leaves my hand as she hugs her back.

I gaze tears in Neha's eyes as they pull away. Mishti reaches out to clear her tears and I catch a glimpse of tears in her eyes which doesn't strive to hide.

Aryan holds my hand as he looks at Mishti. I reach out to pull his cheek and he looks up at me with a frown rubbing his cheek.

"Don't worry Mumma those are her happy tears," Arya says looking concerned. We laugh at her, I pick her in my arms and kiss her cheek.

"Kiaan, meet Mishti, Abir's wife." Neha introduces her to him. They shake hands and smile at each other.

"It's good to see you finally after I have heard a lot about you from everyone." He laughs slowly.

"And it's good to see you finally after I have a lot about you from Neha," Mishti answers as she smiles.

"Where's my chocolate, bua?" Arya looks at her excitedly.

"And where are my shoes you promised to get the time last?" Aryan looks at Kiaan. I shake my head at their never-ending demands with them.

"I did get them." Kiaan nods. "You weren't here so I gave it to your bua, collect them from her."

"Everything is inside let's go." Neha smile as she turns around. "Ma-"

"Neha!" I cut her off when she is about to shout.

"Don't destroy this surprise for me, please." I force a smile. She shouts before she enters, Arya surely gets this from her.

"Oh." She nods. "Go ahead."

We walk to the door and Mishti rings the bell.

"Open the door, open the door." Arya and Aryan start banging on the door. I smile seeing their excitement, they are happy to be here.

"Dadi." Arya screeches keeping her face close to the door.

The door clicks open, Aryan holds Arya when she is about fall flat on her stomach.

Masi looks at us surprised, she smiles at us. Mishti smiles back as she reaches down to touch her feet before they hug.

"Who is it?" Mom shouts from inside. Seems like Masi didn't hear it or she didn't want to answer because she takes hold of Mishti's hand and pulls her inside.

"Are we not being loved?" Aryan looks at Arya.

"We are short, maybe she didn't see us." Arya shrugs.

"Yeah, maybe." Aryan nods.

"So you guys need her to drag you in or what?" I laugh as I look down at them. "She's coming here after years but you aren't, right?"

They grin at me before they run inside screaming excitedly. I look over my shoulder as Neha and Kiaan argue in a low tone.

I have come across weird couples in my life. Foziah and Asad are the first ones.

Foziah is unpredictable. You never know when she changes her decisions and there isn't any particular thing she likes neither there is any particular thing she hates. I don't know how Asad adjusts with her, he just laughs and goes with whatever she says. From the time I have met her, it always feels like she's pregnant because she has mood swings every time. Whatever it is they both have always solved their problems and understood each other which I admire a lot about them.

Neha and Kiaan both are ridiculous. They are kissing one moment and the other moment they are arguing. At times I have wondered if the kiss wasn't satisfactory that's why they are arguing. They kiss before arguing, they kiss after arguing.

Kunal and Shreya are damn secretive. In front of us, they are like nothing is going between them. Just leave them alone for 5 minutes then their arms will be around each other and you'll probably hear smooching sounds.

Sara's love life is--

"Get in." Neha pushes me as she walks past me.

"What's wrong?" I frown at Kiaan as he stands behind me.

"I think, we should get married before she decides to break our engagement." He leaves an exasperated breath.

"Good luck with it." I pat his arm and he laughs slowly.

"I gotta go."

I nod and watch him walk away. Sighing I get inside and my heart warms as I watch Mishti sitting between Mom and Bebe and laughing. I knew they'll bond up like old times.

Neha entertains Arya and Aryan with some new toys which I assume were brought by Kiaan. Neha and Kiaan both have taken care of Arya and Aryan in simple ways, taking them to parks and all. I am so thankful to them.

"Does Abir boss around you?" I roll my eyes as mom looks at her curiously.

"Nope, your son is very sweet." Mishti laughs slowly. "I mean, my husband is very sweet."

I look down and smile as I feel my cheeks warming. It feels so good to hear that from her, I stand there silently not willing to interrupt.

"How do you feel now?" Masi looks at her.

Mishti stays silent for a moment then she looks up at Masi as a soft smile stretches her lips. "I feel a lot better now."

"Abir and Badi maa both were right, it feels good to be here and talk with you both as a daughter-in-law." She looks around the house.

"You don't have to keep the feeling that you lost your memory or you don't remember what happened years ago." Masi clasps her hand in hers.

"Let that go. Live your life how it is make it beautiful and memorable. You are not alone in this, you have Abir, your kids, and all of us. Let us make the pain we endure worth it."

Mishti hugs her as she cries slowly, I look away from them as I blink my eyes to clear the tears.

"Thank you." Mishti looks between Masi and Mom. "It means a lot to me."

I turn around when someone keeps a hand on my shoulder. "Nanu." I smile at him and he puts his arms around me to hug. It's incredible that no matter how much you grow up you get the child-like feeling when you are with parents and grandparents.

"It's good to see you here." He holds my arms as he smiles at me.

"I am happy to be here." I smile back at him.

"Nanu." Arya and Aryan run towards him pushing me away. He is the only person who never scolds them and he is their most favorite.

"How are my children?" He laughs as they hug his legs.

"We are good."

"You should have said me you are coming then I would have got some gifts for you." He looks at them.

"Papa wanted to surprise you all," Aryan explains.

"But will you make a banana milkshake for us?" Aryan asks excitedly.

"Anything for you." Nanu smiles at them.

"I need 4 glasses," Aryan announces and I shake my head. Like Mishti has a liking towards Apple juice he has a weird liking towards a Banana milkshake made by Nanu.

"No, I need a chocolate milkshake." Arya frowns.

"We will make both," Masi says as she walks to us. "Till then you both play."

They nod and run. "Careful," Masi shouts behind them which I am sure no one heard because they still run around so Masi runs behind them.

Mishti stands beside me as she looks at Nanu nervously, I realize this is her first time with him after years.

Nanu smiles at her as he looks between us. "Nothing looks perfect than you two right now."

"How are you?" He gazes at Mishti.

"I am fine." Her voice cracks in the end, I look at her worried.

"You okay?"

"Yeah." She nods. "I am sorry, I just... I have never had a grandparent..." She runs her hand under her eyes before smiling at him again.

"I am your Nanu." Nanu nods remarkably before he reaches out to hug her.

"It's time you should get your happy family." Nanu looks at us as they pull out of the hug.

"We should," I mumble as I put my arm around Mishti.

"Sit I'll make a milkshake for all of us." We nod and he walks to the kitchen.

Mishti sighs and I look at her. "So?" I arch an eyebrow at her.

"What?" She laughs rolling her eyes.

"How was it meeting my family?" I look at her curiously.

"You mean my in-laws?" She arches an eyebrow at me.

"Oh, yeah!" I laugh slowly as I put my arms around her.

"It was nothing like I predicted and I feel happy now." She reaches out to caress my jaw.

"I am happy too." I sigh. "And you need to stop." I groan as she traces my lower lip with her nail.

"I thought you said we need to get a room for ourselves if we need to romance." Neha looks between us teasingly. "Years and still I see the love between you growing."

"Do you not consider meeting Sara?" Neha looks at Mishti with a frown.

"We are not meeting her now, maybe sometime." I interrupt, Mishti nods knowing the reason.

"As you wish." Neha shrugs. "She will be so happy to see you."

She excuses herself when her phone rings.

"How many months more?" Mishti looks at me as she folds her arms.

"Three," I say as I sigh. I am so glad Mishti understands me and helps me out.

We look around as Arya and Aryan laugh loudly. Mom laughs as she tickles them, she loves both Arya and Aryan equally.

"Stop." Arya tries to catch her breath and then the duo gaze at each other before they start tickling her.

Life is so incomplete without family. I am so lucky to have a family who stood with me every time. I was broken when Mishti went missing and they all managed everything.

While Kunal, Neha, Sara, Foziah, and Asad were trying to help me out with the situation Nanu, mom, and masi took care of Arya and Aryan.

Each person in our life is there for a reason, nothing in this world is unreasonable. You never realize the value of a person until they are not with you anymore. It's always better to appreciate the efforts of every person in your life because life would be slightly different without them.

Arya and Aryan's life would be different if Mom, Masi, and Nanu were not with them. Grandparents are blessings in the life of grandchildren and grandchildren are blessings in the life of grandparents.

For kids, there can be no best storyteller who tells them weird incidents of their parent's childhood except grandparents.

For grandparents, there can be no one who would manage to bring the lost childishness in them except grandchildren.

I walk to her and bent down to touch her feet. She smiles at me as she blesses me.

"You don't even bother to look at me," I complain as I sit beside her and Mishti sits beside me.

"These cute faces don't remind me of you." She teases as she glances at them running around the house, I laugh and hug her.

She reaches out to hold my and Mishti's hand and smiles at us. "You have always been good as husband-wife. Now it's time to be good parents which I am sure you will be."

"This time, I want you both to be careful. Slap each other if required but know that this time there shouldn't be any stupidity."

I and Mishti laugh slowly and she smiles at us.

I think I'll kiss her to stop her from doing any stupidity.

✧✧✧

After spending yesterday with everyone today we decided to come to our home. Mishti said she wants to stay a little longer so we left around 7 in the evening instead of leaving in the afternoon. It feels good to have everything back to normal.

I have been waiting for this moment for so long. Having your own family, your own house has a different feeling.

I pull the car into the driveway and look at Mishti. Memories flow in front of my eyes like a video.

Years ago I pulled the car into the driveway and she was pregnant this time we have those babies sitting in the backseat and screeching some song as they watch videos.

Years ago we came to look for this house and this time we own it.

Years ago we kissed in the car and now we can't because we have kids in the backseat.

Years ago I lost her and now I have her.

But now it's time to forget years ago and time to look for years ahead. I reach out to hold Mishti's hand in mine and bring it near my lips to kiss.

"Keys." I hand her, she closes her hand as she looks at the building from the window.

"I can't believe all of this is real." She gives me a small smile.

"I wish I could kiss you to let you know it is real." I grin at her, she shakes her head with a smile.

"Have we reached?" Aryan asks.

"Yeah, the part where you break our romantic moments," I mumble under my breath and silently thank Arya for increasing the volume.

"Let's get out," I announce as I unbuckle my seatbelt. Getting out of the car, I sigh looking at the house. I just brought this home and never came here.

Arya and Aryan hold their hands as they stare at the building. Mishti reaches out to hold her hand in mine, we smile at each other.

"Come on, get in," I say to Arya and Aryan. They let out an excited glee before they walk in and we follow them.

The three look around the car porch and sit out. I put my arm around Mishti as I kiss the side of her head.

"Can we promise to turn this building into a home filled with Sweetness Of Love?" I look at Mishti then at my kids.

"I promise." Arya and Aryan say instantly as a smile spreads on their lips.

"I promise." Mishti nods as she reaches out to caress their cheeks.

"I promise," I whisper.

I discreetly attempt to peck Mishti's lips but my bad Arya caught glimpse of it and she shortly looks away biting her tongue.

I and Mishti sit on our knees and we four hug each other as we fill ourselves with Sweetness.

Love is never just about soulmates, it is always about every relationship. From parents to grandparents to aunts and uncles to siblings to cousins to friends to companions to kids to grandkids, everyone.

Two strangers fall in love, they love each other immensely and that love leads to lovemaking, and then children are born who continue the generation that is one of the why Husband Wife's relationship is special.

Having my wife's and children's arms around me I realize after everything we went through this moment is filled with Sweetness Of Love for us.

This moment is Sweetness Of Love.
