Taehyung had been in rehab for about 5 days now and was only just feeling better. The last few days were draining, torture and something he never ever wants to experience again.

He hadn't eaten properly in 4 days now due to all the vomiting he was experiencing. All his nights were sleepless, waking up every hour feeling intensely ill.

Physical symptoms of alcohol withdrawal, with the right help can be stopped after a few days to months. The first few days are the worst, by a few months patients will feel tired, mood changes and sleep changes but nothing like seizures or hallucinations which individuals are more prone to working the first 24-48 hours since their last drink.

Taehyung had just woken up groaning, he finally had a night where he had a decent sleep. Decent was 5 hours, but that was 5 hours more than the past few nights. He finally wasn't puking now too. He just had constant headaches, weakness, loud noises and bright lights can be uncomfortable, and feeling very dehydrated.

"Hey loser, nice to see you back from the dead" Jooheon smiled, looking at the boy who looked exhausted but the nickname still managed to make Taehyung jokingly eye roll and a small smile.
"I brought you some food, today will be the day you will stomach it hm. Hopefully it'll give you energy, because today you'll be seeing your Jungkookie"

Taehyung's mouth dropped.
"T-today?" Taehyung gasped.
"That's what I said, I can't wait to meet your lover boy. I mean after being on the phone to him while you're throwing up each night is good and all but it'll be great to see him in person"
"I-I can't see him, I look like shit" Taehyung said looking at himself in the mirror.
"You've waited all week to see him, he's waited all week to see you too. You need to Tae"

"I don't want him to worry though" Taehyung mumbled, he already knew he's lost a lot of weight recently and his eye bags were huge, he also looked much paler than usual.

"He will worry more if he can't see you stupid. He'll be devastated to come over and see you"
"But I look disgusting, he won't want to talk to me again, I know it"
"Taehyung shut the fuck up. He's been up all night on the phone to make sure you're okay. Finally the time comes he can see you, you don't want to see him. You should feel lucky someone is even coming to see you, cause I've got no one!"

"I-I'm so sorry Joo, please forgive me"
Taehyung apologised walking to his bed and sitting next to him.
"I'm sorry hyung" Taehyung whined jumping on top of him and hugged him.
"You should not be hugging me, you'll break"
"Shhh, this won't happen often to suck it up. You're not alone, you have me and Koo now. And I am sorry, I love Koo more than anything and I know he wouldn't judge. I just, I dunno"

"It's okay kiddo, I know you love him. Now let's get you fed and presentable for your boyfriend"

"Oh my god, I can't wait to see him. 9 hours till I can see him" Jungkook jumped about to his coworkers.
"Awh Kook you're so cute" Chae smiled squeezing Jungkook's cheeks.
"I still can't get over the fact you are both dating, I must have been so oblivious" Kihyun laughed as he swept the floor getting ready for opening.

"Kook are you ever gonna get any sleep? You look exhausted"
"Yeah during the day, not tomorrow though, but I don't care. I'd do anything to see him and if that means no sleeping then I won't sleep"
"You can leave early tonight if you want" Chan suggested feeling bad for the boy.
"Thanks guys but I need to stay and finalise things before we are closed for the next two days. I appreciate you all though, you've all done so well. I know I'm not your boss and I'd never want to take that away. But I'm really proud of you all and I know boss would be too"

"Awhhh Kook, we love you too" Chae squealed, hugging Jungkook's neck and ruffling his hair.
"Don't read in to it too much Chae" Jungkook sulked. "I can only love one and that's my boyfriend" Jungkook quickly winked.

"Okay 10 minutes till opening, are we all ready?" Jungkook smiled to them all, the job gets no easier but the encouragement can always make the shift go a bit quicker.
"Yes Kook" the all cheered.
"Let's do this" Jungkook nodded to them all to get in to place. "Let's do it for boss"

"Why are you keeping your hood up?" Jooheon laughed as the boy who was anxiously fidgety waiting for his boyfriend.
"So no one else can see me"
"You're so silly" Jooheon snorted.

"Okay guys visitors are here" the nurses all called out to the different corridors of rooms.
People walked out rushing to their mothers, fathers, partners, children, siblings, friends, family with wide arms, hugging them all tightly.

Taehyung walked down the corridor to the room with visitors and couldn't see Jungkook anywhere. He pulled his bottom lip with his teeth, nervously looking around.
"Kim, your one is outside" one of the security guards chimed with a smile and a wink.

Although it was nothing as a sort to prison, they still needed to have security guards on stand by in case they see any substances which have been brought from outside or in case they get angry etc.

Taehyung smiled and thanked him before opening the door. He took a breath of fresh air. It felt nice to have the breeze on his face after all these days being cooped up in his room.

Taehyung's head started to move around until he locked eyes with his best friend, boyfriend and soulmate. Finally he could breathe. He saw what makes his heart beat.

"My tae bear" Jungkook called, as he ran to the elder and launched at him.
Taehyung caught the boy in his arms, but stumbled backwards and fell to the floor.
The two landed on the floor with an 'oof' but didn't let go of each other.

"Fuck, I missed you" Taehyung nuzzled his face into the boys neck.
Jungkook giggled laying his head against the elders.
"I missed you too angel, so much"

They stayed in each others embrace just soaking up the warmth they missed after so long.
"Let me see my bear" Jungkook whispered leaning up so he could see the face he missed so damn much.

Jungkook pushed the hood back so he could see his eyes.
"D-don't say anything, I'm better now"
"I know bear, just wish you could get some rest now you're not throwing up. Have you eaten today?" Jungkook asked as he caressed the boys jaw line which was much more prominent.
"Yeah Jooheon brought me breakfast from the canteen"
"Good I'm glad you've got a friend there" Jungkook smiled pecking Taehyung's lips softly.

They moved their position so Jungkook was leaning against the tree while Taehyung had his head resting in his lap, looking up at Jungkook. Jungkook's fingers were raking through the elders hair softly knowing he loved it so much.

"Your hair is getting so long and fluffy now" Jungkook whispered.
"Do you like it?" Tae asked hopefully.
"I love it Tae"
"M'glad. How have you been doing?" Taehyung asked softly, caressing the boys cheek.
"I've been okay. The penthouse is really empty without you but work has been keeping me busy. Everyone is missing you abs send their life to their boss.
Also they got a date for the court hearing"
"Really? When is it?"
"It's in a few weeks Tete"
"Oh...do you think I'll be able to be there? I want to be there for you"

Jungkook leaned down and pressed their lips together in a sweet kiss. Taehyung of course kissed back without delay. Jungkook smiled and kissed Taehyung's lips once more and pecked the tip of his nose.

"I know you do angel, but it might be too much for you. I don't want you falling back into your old habits only 4 weeks into rehab. And I'm not suggesting that you would, but I don't want there to be an option for you to stress while being sat in the court room"
"B-but will I be able to make a statement? I want to be able to do something"
"You're too good for me" Jungkook mumbled pecking his lips once again, he was greedy for kisses what else can he say.

"Of course you can. You'll already be used as an evidence, but there nothing stopping for you to make a written statement for the courtroom. I really appreciate it but if it's too much then don't do it okay. I'll love you either way"

"So this is the famous Koo?" A voice was heard breaking their soft momentvwith one another.
"Ah you must be Jooheon, I recognise the voice"
"That's me in the flesh" he chimed taking a seat on the floor next to the couple.
"He's complete mush in your arms. Looks like a little baby" Jooheon sniggered at his friend.
"Piss off loser" Taehyung kicked the boy, not wanting to move from his position, Jungkook's lap was his favourite pillow.

"Awh hes my baby" Jungkook giggled, scrunching his nose in happiness as he did so.
Taehyung watched the boy with heart eyes. He didn't care what was going on around him. His focus was solely on Jungkook.
"If you stare at him any longer he's gonna have burn holes in his chin" Jooheon snorted shaking the boy from his daydreaming.
Taehyung just groaned and rolled over so Jooheon couldn't see his face and Tae's face was facing Jungkook. He brought his hand up and tugged the boys hoodie up gently, so his stomach was peeping out. Instantly Tae nuzzled his face into the squishy skin loving the smell of the youngers body lotion.

"Okay you're sappiness is making me weak. I'm gonna go steal some biscuits, it was lovely meeting you Jungkook. Hopefully I'll speak you again very soon. See you indoors puppy" Jooheon smiled and the pair before leaving them alone once again.

"This is so difficult, I was this could all end now" Taehyung mumbled, he knew this was good for him and what he needed to get back on the right path but he missed Jungkook more than anything.
"I know, but it'll be over soon. You can do it"
"We can do it sweetheart"
