Taehyung slowly opened his eyes, in the late morning, pressing his face into the fleshy like pillow. He hummed slightly and turned his body, stretching some stems and legs.
He looked up and noticed Jungkook fast asleep in the seated position. He had a big pout on his lips as he slept. He didn't look comfortable, as he had his hands resting on top of the elders head.

Taehyung was confused why Jungkook was laying on his bed and confused why he was laying on his lap. He couldn't remember if he had a nightmare last night or not, because he didn't wake up in a cold sweat. Which again was also confusing.

He slowly sat up from the boys lap and laid himself down. He wrapped his arms around the younger and brought him down into his arms, trying not to wake him up. Jungkook moved around a bit, but eventually cuddled up to Tae's chest, drifting back into his deep slumber again.

Taehyung smiled softly and he ran his fingertips along Jungkook's back gently. He could feel Jungkook nuzzle his face into his chest which felt nice. Just laying their, late in the morning, with someone cuddled up to you. It was nice, like really nice.

Taehyung couldn't remember the last time he was in a relationship. He was never one to get into relationships or even hook ups for that matter. It just wasn't his thing. But that thought came crashing down every time he shared a somewhat intimate moment with Jungkook. Maybe it was just the case of waiting for the right person? But it wasn't like those thoughts had all disappeared, because it was still too early on.

Taehyung laid in bed with Jungkook curled up to him for about an hour. It was the least he could do as the younger had come into his room and fell asleep in such an awkward position.

Jungkook began to stir and quickly woke up wondering what the hell he was cuddled up to. Jungkook became panicked until he saw who it was.
"Sorry didn't mean to scare you" Taehyung looked at the boy who was startled.
"It's fine, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean hug you, I fell asleep and well I didn't know I moved so much"
"Jungkook it's okay, I pulled you down to lay like this otherwise I think your neck would have broke"

"Oh right, well thanks. How are you feeling anyway? Are you feeling better?" Jungkook whispered as he stretched a bit, as he turned on his side to face the elder.
"What do you mean?" Taehyung frowned.
"Last night I came back from getting a water and you were whimpering. The last time this happened you were so broken and then you woke up ill. So I wanted to make sure you were okay and so I stayed with you, just in case, but I must have fallen asleep" Jungkook rambled on making Tae chuckle watching him.

"It's okay, thank you, I'm fine. But I appreciate you looking after me, even when I was asleep"
Jungkook turned a deep shade of red but something took over his mind. "Do you always get nightmares?" Jungkook asked softly.
"Most nights, usually when I have them I can't sleep after. So I'm quite surprised I slept the whole night. I don't remember having one last night" Tae said his train of thought out loud.

"Well I'm pretty sure you had one, but when I got you calmed down, you didn't flinch or cry again. Maybe it's because you feel protected almost?"
"Could it be though? I've been dealing with these for years, I'm sure it can't stop just like that" Tae said in disbelief.
"Well when you were at mine the same thing happened. Did you have a nightmare there after you went back to sleep?" Jungkook asked, gently brushing some of Tae's hair out of his face.
"N-no I don't think so, it all just seems strange"

"Well why don't we test it?" Jungkook questioned.
"How?"
"How about we spend tonight in bed together for the whole night and see if you get a nightmare?"
"Is that just an excuse to spend more time with me?" Taehyung smirked seeing the boys flushed face.
"N-no, this is about you, and your journey to getting better"

"Is this what all of this is about? Some little game of yours to try and make the cold man happy? Am I just a bet to you Jungkook?" Taehyung snapped, taking the younger off guard, and flinch, which didn't go unnoticed by Taehyung.
Jungkook took a deep breath and let his words flow to his mind. One thing you should know about those who have a strong relationship with alcohol or cigarettes, irritability. 

From Jungkook's experience he's had many encounters with addicts some more personal than others, but that will all be uncovered later.
When training at a pub before in his teenage years, he was surrounded by coworkers who smoked, and if they hadn't had a cigarette in a long while, they snapped.

"Tae...you know that's not true. I'm not sure what you fully mean to me yet, but I know it's something and not nothing. No you're not just a bet or a game. You're someone who I want to spend my free time with, and you're also someone I want to see happy. I want to be someone to you. You're not cold, you're just someone who lacks love and that's okay, because maybe one day I might be able to be that person. But for that to happen, I need you to let me in"

Taehyung slowly nodded and looked at him with a disappointed look on his face. "Don't beat yourself up okay. I'll go make us some food? and maybe you should go have a cigarette. Dont be embarrassed, I know it's hard, one thing at a time okay" Jungkook encouraged.
"How is it that you know what to say exactly when I need it?"
"It's a gift of mine, now go" Jungkook commanded with a soft tone as he got up out of bed and walked out the door to the kitchen.

Jungkook looked through the cupboards and once again they were bare. Jungkook sighed and turned back to Taehyung's bedroom. He wasn't in there, but noticed that the door for the balcony was unlocked and open.
Jungkook walked out and saw Taehyung fumbling with the cigarette.

"Hey" Jungkook called out to the elder.
"Hey everything okay?"
"Let's go out for breakfast" Jungkook suggested.
"Like a...date?" Taehyung paused and looked at the younger's expression.
"Uh I uh, do you want it to be a date?" Jungkook rocked on his heels softly, trying to hide his blush.

"Sure, I want it to be, if you want it to be. But if you don't that's completely fine too"
"Me too" Jungkook giggled at his nervousness.
"I-it's a date then"
