The way Jimin jumped around had annoyed Yoongi quite a bit when he had first met him. Back then he had only been another hyperactive child to him. But as time passed by, Jimin had started to change. He had begun to prefer lying around all day, over dancing at the studio and stopped smiling as much. He would still keep up the facade of being the happy little baby he was, but Yoongi could see the way the boy was slowly falling apart, simply because Jimin struggled with keeping his facade with someone he shared a room with.

If only Yoongi had noticed earlier...

So it only made sense, that now it made Yoongi happy to see Jimin jumping around and making bets with Jungkook, about who would get a better rating by Taehyung for doing handstands. It had only been three months since Yoongi had forced Jimin to break up with Beom. At first Jimin had been really angry with Yoongi for deciding things such as who Jimin was allowed to date on his own, but the moment that had changed his opinion, was when Beom had told Jimin his opinion of him once he heard Jimin was planning on breaking up.

"You're making stuff a lot easier for me, you know? Who would care about you and your ugly body anyway? I have been considered breaking up with you for months, but you have just been so clingy I would have felt bad. Good luck trying to find anyone that would be willing to fuck you..."

It was just a small part of what had been said that day, but it was the part that had finally opened Jimin's eyes to how unhealthy his relationship with Beom had actually been. Beom's words had almost broken his heart, but it also made the next part easier. His Ex spamming his insta, with a bunch of pictures of him kissing a girl, in a lot of different locations. The girl that he had assured Jimin back then was just a friend. He had even lashed out on Jimin for doubting him for even a second

But the only thing actually kept his heart from stopping right that day was Yoongi's confession. The older who had always been nice to him and always taken care of him, telling him that he had been in love with him for years.

What came as even more of a surprise, was that Yoongi wanted to take some time, before declaring anything between them. Instead of pressuring Jimin into a relationship he just took care of the broken boy with the low self-esteem, always smiling at him in a reassuring way while making sure he was always there whenever Jimin needed it.

Jimin had spent more than a month wanting to make the first step, but he just hadn't been brave enough. In his last and only relationship, he had always been the one to be bossed around and having his own will for once was something he just wasn't used to. He really wanted it though. The last two months had given him all the time he needed to realize that he had feelings for his best friend... maybe even back when he was still in a relationship as well, but he'd never realized. Instead he'd probably unconsciously decided to push his feelings to the side. After all he'd been with Beom and wouldn't have been worth of Yoongi's love anyways.

The only thing that still had to happen back then, was that Jimin had to make a move on the Yoongi, who probably had a lot of experience in dating, while Jimin only had ever been with his abuser. He'd always felt superior and now that he actually considered asking him out it triggered his own insecurities even more. In the end it had been Yoongi who had taken the next step.

The feeling of being unworthy of Yoongi once again started creeping up in Jimin. Whenever it did he suddenly felt like the only reason Yoongi had asked him out was because he'd felt bad for Jimin, that had been abused right in front of his eyes for five years.

And then were the worries. The small voices in the back of his head whispering about how history would repeat itself. That Yoongi probably would start acting like his ex as well. All of their bandmates, knew the rapper for having a bad temper. Jimin was sure it wouldn't take long for him to start being annoying to Yoongi. Jimin was weak, clingy, quite a bit of a crybaby and needed a lot of attention all the time, which made him almost certain that he would end driving the rapper insane. Of course he would... He was the one, who was at fault for how things with Beom had turned out. If he'd been just a bit more mature, hadn't asked for so much... maybe things would have gone entirely different...

"Jiminie? Can you come here for a second?" Jimin was ripped out of his thoughts, quickly slipping through Hoseok's and Jungkook's moving bodies, as the two of them memorized the choreography. He made his way over to Yoongi, head slightly tilted in question.

"Why do you keep smiling at him, but always act annoyed, whenever you're around us?" Namjoon complained, while Jimin sat down in front of Yoongi.

Ignoring their leaders little rant, Yoongi smiled at Jimin, dramatically rolling his eyes at Namjoon which lured a happy giggle from Jimin.

"I'm thinking about escaping all this noise. Wanna come with me, watch some movie or something along those lines?" he suggested, reaching his hand out and patting Jimin's leg.

"Sure." Jimin smiled brightly. It always made his heart act out in his chest when Yoongi suggested the two of them do something alone. He already knew that it meant, cuddling up to each other, maybe eating something unhealthy and watching some overly romantic drama. Yoongi called doing so 'shock therapy' in order to push Jimin perception of relationships back to how it should have been normally.

Jimin knew that romance movies certainly weren't relationship standard but it always made him happy anyways. Especially because Yoongi could keep up with any of the male leads in those dramas.
