𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝗼𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝗼𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝗼𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝗼𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝗼𝐮 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐢𝗺 𝐚𝐥𝗼𝐧𝐠 𝗼𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐡𝗼𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩 𝐭𝗼 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝗺𝐚𝐥𝐥 -

THOR ODINSON

You were awoken from your peaceful slumber by a timid knock on your bedroom door. Rolling over tiredly, you called out, "Who is it?"

"Lady (Y/N), It-It's Thor!" Thor's booming voice muffled through the doorway. "Everyone else has left for a mission, and I brought you breakfast."

Smiling, shaking your head, you responded. "Come in!"

He slowly opened the door and walked over to your bed, setting down a plate of hot pancakes and eggs. You looked up at him with a smile of disbelief, "Thor, you didn't have to do this."

Thor shook his head in denial, "No, I wanted to. I was up early." He shrugged.

You nodded, "Well, thank you so much. I'm sure it'll be amazing."

"Did you... have any activities planned for today?" Thor asked with a hint of something else in his voice.

You tilted your head in thought, "Well, I was gonna go to the mall, maybe get some lunch at a café or something later."

Thor's beautiful face scrunched up in confusion, "I-I'm sorry, the mall? I'm not familiar with this word."

You looked up at him, "Oh my God, that's right, I keep forgetting you're from a different planet. Man, that's weird to think about." You thought for a moment, trying to find a way to describe what a mall was to a clueless Thor. "A mall is, like, this giant building that has a bunch of little stores and shops inside of it, and you can just stay there for hours and just buy a bunch of clothes and makeup and other random stuff. I absolutely love the mall. Destroys my bank account, though." You shuddered at the thought.

Thor nodded his head in understanding, "Ah, I understand now."

An idea popped into your head, "Hey, if you're not doing anything else, why don't you come with me?"

Thor shook his head, "I-I wouldn't want to impose-"

"Nonsense," You cut him off with a smile, "It'll be good to have some company."

After a few moments, Thor nodded with a smile, "Alright then, splendid. I look forward to it. What time should we leave?"

You rose an eyebrow, "How about... in an hour?" Thor grinned in agreement, and you smiled back, "Great, can't wait!"

With a laugh, Thor left your room so you could eat and get ready in peace. You finished the delicious food pretty quickly, and made sure you took your time getting ready so you could look your absolute best. You knew it wasn't a date, of course, but you couldn't help but wonder what it would be like if it was.

As decided earlier, you were ready in an hour and found Thor in the living room, waiting on the couch. "Ready to go?" He questioned, admiring you.

"Yup, let's go!" The two of you took the elevator down to the parking garage of the Avengers Tower and you got out your car keys.

Obviously, you were driving since Thor didn't have a license. At least, on Earth he didn't.

It took you about fifteen minutes to get to the mall, and when you got there, Thor helped you find a parking spot. And by finding a parking spot, I mean he threatened a random elderly man to give up his spot for you.

Your first stop in the mall was Urban Outfitters, where you got a new corset top that was pale violet in color with mesh accents, and a new perfume.

Next was Lululemon, where you got some new leggings and a couple of sports bras.

Thor found a pair of sneakers he liked at Footlocker, so you bought him those too even after he insisted he pay for them. Out of gratitude for you buying his shoes, Thor carried all of your bags for you as you trekked through the mall.

You stopped in your tracks when you smelled a familiar delicious smell, grinned, grabbed Thor's hand and pulled him over to the Auntie Anne's that was on the corner. You told him to grab a table for you two nearby and quickly got the food and took it back to the table he found.

You sat down across from him and looked directly into his eyes, placing the food in between the two of you. "Let me be clear when I say that after you try this food, your life will be changed for good."

Thor gave you a strange look but slowly took the food and ate it, his eyes widening as soon as he chewed. "This... This might be one of the best things I've ever eaten." He spoke, his eyes still wide.

You nodded enthusiastically, "Told ya. It's just that good." You laughed when he scarfed down ten more pretzel bites and as a result had some cinnamon sugar on his face. You grabbed a napkin and wiped the stuff off, giggling as you did so.

When you were finished, he grinned at you in thanks. "So, do you come to this place often?" He asked curiously.

"Oh, yeah. For sure. You could classify me as a mall rat, even."

Thor's eyebrows furrowed in concern, "(Y/N) you mustn't speak of yourself so lowly."

You laughed at his misunderstanding, "Oh, no, a mall rat is just someone who goes to the mall a lot."

"Oh, yes, I see." Something caught his attention close to a nearby trash can. He pointed at something and you followed his gaze, trying to see what he was looking at. A small rat poked its head out from around the corner of the trash can, and you laughed."That, there, is an actual mall rat."

You both fell into a fit of laughter, and you couldn't stop smiling. The two of you spent about another hour at the mall, before you decided it was time to head back to the tower.

When you got back and you were in your room, getting changed into comfier clothes, you heard a knock at the door. You pulled your sweatshirt over your head and walked over to the door, opening it. "Hey, what's up?" You asked Thor, who was standing in your doorway.

He looked around, shyly not meeting your eye. "I just wanted to thank you for taking me out today. I had a very nice time with you."

You grinned, "Aw, I had a nice time with you too. We should do it again sometime!"

He laughed, his blue eyes sparkling in the light, "Yes, we must."
